this room has the very special romantic historic feature of having a direct uninterrupted view of our neighbour... the 13th century chateau of st Germain de confolens!! open the shutters and see the chateau in the morning
Enjoy the peace of the French countryside in the ambiance of a small quaint picturesque village, walk across to the riverside bar, explore the chateau, have a picnic by the riverside in a beautiful setting. Or get a cold beer or wine out of our integrated wine/beer cooler in the kitchen and sit in the sunshine ...
enjoy a quality wine of the nearby Bordeaux or bergerac region or a pineau du charante a spirit derived from cognac... the actual town of cognac is an hour away from the house ! Bordeaux and the Atlantic coast is 2 hours.
