Golf Course Villa 99D

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We appreciated the view of the golf course and wildlife from the deck. The interior of this unit needs work. The wallpaper in the foyer is falling off, the carpet throughout is dirty. The kitchen cabinets do not open and close without scraping the ceiling. Master bath is in rough shape. As a first time rental we would certainly stay in Seascape again, but definitely not in this rental.

Get Away Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit we rented was very dated and in need of an upgrade. We decided to not let the condition of the unit ruin our weekend and to make the best of it.. The unit was clean.The road signs were confusing and the unit was difficult to find. Wall paper in the main hallway was falling down and the door was rubbing on the floor. Linoleum in the bathroom was worn out and a towel was stuffed behind the toilet. Bath towels were worn thin and very dingy. The mattresses were both very soft and should be replaced. The kitchen was nice but no spoons or forks. We planned to eat out so it was not a major problem. The front entrance could really use a light so you can see the keypad. I would not reserve this unit again. Overall, I would rate our stay a 3.

Seascape 99D July 4th weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and amenities are nice, but the condo itself needs a little work. Ours didn’t have a washer/dryer and the ones in the bottom of the building didn’t work in ours or the two buildings closest to us. There’s some moldy/mildew spots by the main door from moisture. The condo was clearly cleaned though and overall still fine. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen has the basics to get by. Would stay at seascape again just maybe not this specific unit unless it gets those few things fixed.

Nice upstairs rental

The light is out over the hallway shower but the shower was great. It was nice having all of the games on the shelves and we really enjoyed the sunny porch table in the afternoons. Could use some remodeling but overall we liked it!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures are as described. The unit needs a little TLC. The bathroom floor is old and looks water damaged. We didn't have enough silverware or good pots and pans. The main bath had good hot water, but the master bath did not, only cool water for showers. Ice maker did not work in the fridge. Maintenance was responsive, but could not fix the ice machine. Overall, the unit met our needs but isn't as nice as other units.

Disappointed

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived and wall paper was peeling off the wall, we didn’t have enough towels for the 6 people staying in the room, there was no security lock on door, the small shower stall in master had no shower head and open 1/2 in pipe coming out of the wall, chairs at kitchen table were broken, there was no sheet left for couch bed for my kids, we were unable to get anyone to answer the phone since check in was after hours for staff so we had to go and buy a sheet, we ended up finding a bed sheet in a closet but was covered in dirt or coffee grounds and was in a trash bag, we were under impression room had washer/dryer but didn’t and community washer/dryer did not work, it was rusted and had not been serviced since 2012 based off signed paper on washer/dryer, we had to go to a laundry mat in downtown Destin x2 to wash clothes on our vacation. Talked to two different managers, William was great, and the other one we talked to a beginning of trip was no help at all and never returned calls.

Needs a Facelift

Second bathroom shower had no shower head to use and shower curtain had yellow stains. there were no pictures of either bathrooms for a good reason, as we never would have chosen this unit & management renting knowing bathroom was not useable. Wallpaper in foyer coming off walls, only 1 cushion i found in closet to sit on porch....2 rolls of TP, included in unit, had to purchase 2 night....pillows and mattress in need to replacement. Kitchen was clean & updated, TG no stinky glade plug in used in the unit!!! the best perc...located next to highway noise. should have called to relocate

Reviewer Comments: Was disappointed this unit was so far away from the main resort. would not have rented if i had known the actual location, though that is on the rental company for not providing that at the time of rental. the unit was nice enough, though the shower in the master bathroom didn't have a shower head, so we only had one shower to use. would have been helpful to have the ice maker hooked up and simple housewares like coffee filters available.

Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay was very good, Property Management was helpful, and the location of this condo was very good for us. The condo itself was disappointing--carpet is worn/stained, drain in tub did not work, shower curtain dirty,one hanger in entire condo, one small bar of soap provided, "fuzz bunnies" on the floor in the bedroom and on the ceiling, sliding porch doors hard to open/close, shades on porch doors in poor shape. That said the bed was very comfortable as were the couches in the living room.

Visit was over New years. This unit was near hwy 98 (some traffic noise) but otherwise good spot and the unit itself was nice enough. What would make the resort better is a heated pool and standard amenities in units. Unit had plenty of closet space but no hangars. What would make the Unit better is ceiling fans in bedrooms.

Dissatisfied

The resort was not clean, the items provided was not neat or stored in closets properly... The tv in livingroom did not work properly, it went out & we did not get to watch tv. I was very displeased with the unit and the overall cleanliness of it. It could have been better... I do not think I will refer anyone to this particular unit.

Great Vacation!

We had an awesome and easy stay! The condo was clean and very quite! It was everything you should expect for a beach vacation, so much that we called management and extended our stay by one more day!
