About this property
St Katherines - Four Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 8
A beautiful and imposing red brick Victorian villa less than 6oo yards from the pier and promenade on Llandudno's north shore, and is a similar distance from the quieter West Shore. It is also within walking distance from the Great Orme country park, tram station, cable cars and all the restaurants, pubs and other amenities of this popular seaside resort. St Katherines is a red brickVictorian villa typical of many built in Llandudno in its Victorian hey day. Set well back from a quiet street in this popular coastal resort town, it is within walking distance of the town's two beaches, the Victorian pier and promenade and a dry ski slope. The Great Orme - one of two picturesque limestone headlands which have shaped the town's history since the Bronze age - is a large Country Park right on the doorstep, with wild goats and many unusual plants and insects as well as the possibility of sighting seals and dolphins from the circular walk around the Orme. Venue Cymru the local theatre regularly hosts the Welsh National Opera and Orchestra as well as many other national and international stars. The town has many lovely restaurants, cafes, shops, art galleries and museums. All this and yet you have hardly scratched the surface, a short drive out of town will bring you to the World Heritage site the walled town and Castle at Conwy, a little further and you enter the Snowdonia National Park with all the wonder and excitement this has to offer, from Surfing on a manmade inland lagoon to zooming down Europe's longest zip wire, Mountain biking down purpose made trails or bouncing in underground caverns. Coastal activities also abound and there are numerous National Trust properties and gardens within easy driving distance. We could go on but it is always better to explore, discover and experience this wonderful part of the world in person so book now and start planning your next adventure. This spacious four bedroomed home sleeps up to eight people. Two bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, and there is an additional family bathroom (bath and separate shower) all on the first floor. Large well equipped kitchen and south-facing lounge with bay window are to the front of the house whilst at the back are the dining room, games room/snug lounge and also a shower room and storage room for bikes. The front garden has a patio with views towards the hills and there is a secluded rear yard. This is a no smoking property.Facilities include full central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, range cooker and fridge-freezer, garden furniture and DVD player.
