fantastic stay

We had a wonderful stay in this converted barn. Everything was beyond our expectations, and we were very well received. The area is an ideal base for day trips around Exmoor park. Thanks for having us and our dog!

Perfect little getaway

Had a lovely couple of nights here, out in the countryside away from it all. We had everything necessary for the perfect romantic getaway. Highly recommended.

Quiet location with beautiful walks on doorstep

Peaceful location with dog friendly walks on the doorstep. Whilst a drive to any local amenities the converted barn has all you need for a few days stay and is clean and well presented.

What a place to unwind

A quite wonderful place to stay. Perfect short break to recharge. Such a beautiful setting and comfortable little place to chill out. A great welcome from Lucy, who couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely scones, bread, milk and eggs. A safe place for our dog, too. Would highly recommend! Fully intend to come back

A lovely little 2 night break

The cottage was immaculately clean and comfortable. A lovely little property surrounded by open countryside. The host Lucy was absolutely lovely..nothing was too much trouble..she even brought us round home made scones straight out of the oven on our first night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and no doubt we will stay again. Would definitely recommend 😊

Brilliant place to stay

The cottage is modern and clean and very comfortable, with everything you need for a weekend away. Lucy was there to welcome us when we arrived and had even made us some brownies, which were lovely! The cottage is located in a great spot to get to the Coast or the rest of Exmoor and within easy reach of the Quantocks, so the location is perfect. We took our labrador Dizzy and it was great to have a little enclosed courtyard for her. We felt very welcome and had a lovely stay. We'll definitely book again!

Perfect getaway

Beautiful character cottage very well furnished and immaculately presented on arrival. The perfect location for us and our 14 year old dog. Superb communication and check in with the owners who provided milk, eggs, tea, coffee, toiletries etc.. and a rather cheeky cake on arrival. The views are of the surrounding hills, ewes with lambs and the occasional small herd of red deer. Definitely returning to the same accommodation on future trips.

Lovely Barn Conversion

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Furze Barn. Lucy and Robert were perfect hosts from homemade scones to checking that everything was ok. The barn itself is lovely perfect for the 2 of us and our dog and although in a remote area for us it was perfect and was a great base for us to visit the places we wanted too. The barn was clean and cosy with a great information pack and games. It had everything you could ask for and we definitely hope to come and stay again. Many thanks

A beautiful home from home.

Right from booking Lucy and I communicated on occasions. As soon as we checked in, we soon found everything we needed in the cottage. A full kitchen, shower amenities, a lovely comfortable bed. We were interested in seeing the farm which the cottage is situated on. Lucy and Robert took time out of their day to show us round and see all the animals and their land. I don't think we've ever met such lovely hosts! Thank you both for a wonderful stay, we're planning a trip back. All the best for the new venture! Alice & Will
