Close to Quail Lodge and Carmel Valley Ranch this 9 year old mediterranean home is close to the mouth of Carmel Valley, enabling you to enjoy the sunny micro climate and all that downtown Carmel and the Pebble Beach community have to offer. The home is designed to encourage indoor/outdoor living. The main living room and adjacent dining room open up onto a beautiful patio where a fountain and flowers set the scene for relaxed mornings and afternoons. The kitchen opens up onto a terraced backyard which includes a built in fireplace, grill and kitchen garden - perfect for evening gatherings. The kitchen has top appliances and is expansive with plenty of storage. Mountain views beckon from both the master bedroom suite (king bed) and additional guest room (queen bed) on the second floor. Downstairs, two smaller bedrooms (twin beds) share a full bath. A powder room is conveniently located near the living room. This home truly offers the best of both worlds - sunshine with Carmel convenience.

Fabulous stay

Wonderful home that we loved so much we wish it was our own. Easy check in. Isolated, quiet location which was fine as it was very quiet. Everything as expected except two small twin bedrooms downstairs. They were nothing like pictures with raised twin beds up on high platforms which weren’t good for little ones but we brought our own pack n play and blow up twin bed so it worked fine. Amazing stock of amenities. Be aware there are a LOT of stairs. Again we loved the house and truly enjoyed our stay to visit Monterey Bay Aquarium (20 to 25 minutes) and Carmel (10 to 15 minutes). Best meal at Folktale Winery just minutes away.

Outdoor living

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The back patio was perfect for nighttime gathering....built in bbq and gorgeous fireplace. The weather was great and we enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the front patio. The house is probably the best stocked that we have stayed in; food, towels, toiletries, firewood, we were in want of nothing. Had a great time!

Great Place / Friendly Host!

Beautiful property and great place to spend the night. The backyard fireplace was great for a social gathering. The host made it super easy to check-in/check-out and was responsive to our questions!

Our family had a short vacation in Carmel. We use Vrbo probably 10 times a year... The house was one of the nicest places we have stayed in. We loved it!

Beautiful, quiet home in stunning setting with views and close drive to town

We loved our stay at Laura's home. I've always stayed in Carmel-by-the sea and thought I would miss being close to the beach but this home is in such a beautiful, tucked away neighborhood in the valley. The views are spectacular, the outside areas and kitchen were awesome for hanging out and relaxing with our group of friends. Beds and towels were comfortable and place is so clean. Easy access by car to both the valley's hot spots for wine tasting and great lunch/dinner as well as super quick drive to the beachy side of things! Truly enjoyed our stay and plan to go back.
