We hope you will enjoy our home away from home as much as we do. We are a Coast Guard family that retired in Arlington, VA after a thirty-five-year career. We’ve own a consulting company, principally serving clients in maritime telecommunications and electronic systems. Lucky for us our two daughters and most of our grandchildren are near.
In seeking a second home for work and play, we wanted a peaceful place in rural VA with great scenery and much to do for us and our families. With Wintergreen, we found it all. The Wintergreen web site and other parts of this will show lots of year-round activities, and it’s especially kid friendly. Our grandkids visit “Grammy’s Mountain” frequently and love every minute with activities on and off the mountain; the go-cart track in Waynesboro is a special favorite of kids for all ages.
