About this property

The Cow Shed - with panoramic views of Miller's Dale

Put life on pause at The Cow Shed, a former barn that has been lovingly and sensitively converted into a stylish home from home for a family of five or two couples.

Undeniably tasteful and rustically chic, The Cow Shed is one of four stunning cottages at Vicarage Farm, a tranquil historic church farm based in the heart of the High Peak.

Best known for its panoramic views of Miller's Dale, you’ll love this cottage. Features include the bi-fold doors in the living room that bring in the outside, along with the lovely feature upper glass gable looking onto lawns and two patios so you can keep an eye on the kids and see who’s winning at tennis. With an impressive open plan living space the cottage remains cosy in the winter months thanks to a large open-hearth fireplace in the lounge area, and the family sized dining kitchen is well specified and recently refurbished.

The Cow Shed sleeps up to five across two first floor double bedrooms that are both en suite. The family room has a king-size bed, one single and a en suite shower. The second bedroom has a double bed, en suite bathroom and views over the tennis court to the rear.

Wallow in the range of communal facilities on hand. Or simply kick back and relax on your on your private patio at the front and to the side of your cottage - delightful spots at any time of day!

Fire up a game of family doubles on the all-weather tennis court and let mini guests loose on the well-established playground. You’ll also find a communal outdoor gazebo and barbecue terrace nestled within the tranquil settings. Twinkling fairy lights and an under cover open log fire make it magical for evening celebrations!
