Welcome to I Glicini, a corner of paradise in the heart of Chianti.

Nestled among the rolling Tuscan hills and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, our lovingly restored barn is ready to welcome you for an unforgettable holiday. Located just 30 minutes from Florence and 40 from Siena, it is the perfect base to explore Tuscany’s treasures, including San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, and Lucca.

I Glicini offers three uniquely styled apartments, each thoughtfully designed to create a warm and authentic Tuscan ambiance. Every apartment features a private entrance and its own terrace, equipped with a table, chairs, barbecue, and sun umbrella, perfect for savoring a glass of Chianti as the sun sets. Inside, you’ll find fully equipped kitchens with an oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, and iron. Each bedroom is beautifully appointed and comes with its own private bathroom. In our garden, surrounded by the tranquility of the countryside, you can unwind by the pool or simply soak in the breathtaking views of the Tuscan landscape.

Whether you’re seeking art, culture and history or just longing to relax in the peace of the countryside, we’re here to make your holiday a unique and unforgettable experience. Our goal is to make you feel at home, offering a stay that feels like a true escape from the everyday.

Die Wohnung liegt wunderschön und ruhig auf dem Land in der Toskana. Die Gesamtewohnanlage ist gepflegt und sauber, die Vermieter waren für Fragen stets offen und gaben uns Tipps z.B. für einen Beusch in Florenz. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Traumurlaub in der Toscana

Das Objekt ist perfekt in der Toscana gelegen. Es sind alle schönen großen und kleinen Städte innerhalb einer Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Anlage wird von den Besitzern Lucia und Roberto sehr gepflegt. Der Pool, besonders an heißen Tagen sehr erfrischend, ist groß und das Wasser sehr sauber. Das Mietobjekt hat 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer und einen großen Essens- und Küchenbereich. Von der Terrasse hat man einen herrlichen Blick in die schöne Landschaft der Toscana. Und, wenn es mal Fragen gab oder wir Hilfe benötigen, könnte man Lucia anrufen und sie hat uns sofort geholfen. Am vorletzten Tag kamen wir gegen 20.30 Uhr aus Florenz zurück, als uns 5 Kilometer vor der Unterkunft der Vorderreifen an unserem Auto geplatzt war. Wir riefen verzweifelt Lucia an, die sofort mit ihrem Fahrzeug kam und uns zur Unterkunft brachte. Am nächsten Tag fuhr sie mich dann wieder zum Fahrzeug, wo unser Reifen vom ADAC gewechselt wurde. Dann fuhr sie noch mit zum Reifenhändler und wir erhielten dank ihrer Hilfe sehr günstig ein neues Reserverad. Ein trotzt des Schreckens perfekter Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Don’t miss this one

Lucia and Roberto ARE the BEST. Soooo helpful, so knowledgeable, so gracious. This is the real deal , Tuscany as you have imagined. I can’t say enough for the location, location, location. Real country setting. low key, relaxed and beautiful. We rented the two bed, two bath apartment. Shopped local for supplies. Eat local with amazing dishes. All of Lucia recommendations we perfect. Thank Lucia and Roberto , you are the best. I know because I am the owner of a 5 star B&B in Maine USA

Erholsamer Toskanaurlaub

Sehr netter Kontakt mit den Vermietern, die sofort bei Fragen halfen. Der Pool war sehr schön, ist mit Gartentor abgegrenzt und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Idyllisch gelegen, super zum Erholen.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Vielen Dank an Lucia und Roberto, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeden Tag (!) wurde der Pool morgens gereinigt und alles sauber gemacht. Lucia spricht sehr gutes Englisch was eine Kommunikation sehr vereinfacht da unser Italienisch eher schlecht ist ;)) perfektes WLAN auch im Außenbereich. Das Haus ist typisch toskanisch wir fanden es sehr schön, Klima im Schlafzimmer funktioniert sehr gut. Ein eigener Parkplatz mit elektrischem Tor und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Kurz gesagt wir würden wieder kommen :-)

Mooi appartement met geweldig uitzicht en aardige verhuurders!

Echt leuk appartement, tuintje met fantastisch uitzicht over wijn- en olijfvelden en goed zwembad. Locatie ligt dichtbij alles wat je wilt zien en bezoeken in Chianti en Florence. Verhuurders Roberto en Lucia helpen graag om alles naar de zin te maken. Groet, Klaas

Fabelhaft!

Wir haben eine erholsame, schöne Zeit in Tavarnelle / Noce verbracht. Die Wohnung (Einheit mit 2 Schlafzimmern und einem Schlafsofa im Wohnbereich) sowie der wundervolle Garten entsprachen genau der Beschreibung bei HomeAway und den positiven Bewertungen der anderen Reisenden. Unsere Teenager-Kinder waren insbesondere vom Pool und der guten Wlan-Verbindung begeistert. Die Wohnung verfügt über klimatisierte Schlafzimmer. Trotz der hohen Temperaturen (über 30° C) war es nicht notwen-dig, diese einzuschalten, da die Räume gut gedämmt sind bzw. zur Schattenseite hin liegen. Wir können einen Urlaub bei Lucia und Roberto uneinge-schränkt empfehlen.

A beautiful stay in Tuscany

We stayed 15 days at I Glicini and had a marvellous experience. The property is located in an idyllic setting amongst vineyards and olive trees about 3 km from Tavernalle where there are many excellent restaurants and shops for essentials. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was spacious for 4 people with a lovely kitchen and private patio. Roberto and Lucia were wonderful hosts and took very good care of us. We highly recommend I Glicini.

The apartment is located in a beautiful setting, picturesque Tuscany, yet a short drive to Florence. The owners were very helpful. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was perfect for 2 couples. Would recommend this whole heartedly.

A Gem in Tuscany!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at I Glicini! Robert and Lucia were both warm, welcoming, helpful and generous. There was a nice bottle of local Chianti to welcome us and later Roberto brought us a bottle of their very own olive oil. Both of which were delicious! This gem in Tuscany is only 2 km from Tavarnelle where there are restaurants and a Coop for groceries. The town has a great outdoor market on Tuesdays. The unit we stayed in was immaculate, comfortable and very well equipped. I have asthma and was concerned that the unit is not "non-smoking". I emailed the owners with this concern and they replied to me almost immediately that they ask smokers to do so outside. I am very sensitive to the smell of smoke and found absolutely no hint of smoke in the unit. The pool was closed, which we expected as we were there in October, but I am sure it would be wonderful during the summer months. Instead, we enjoyed wine and cheese on the patio with an amazing view of the vineyards below. Being in the heart of Chianti, we were able to do day trips to the many towns in the area: Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Greve, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa and many more. I would highly recommend I Glicini for your next visit to Italy.

Wonderful Tuscan Retreat

This property near Tarvanelle was the perfect spot for our family stay in Tuscany. The location was ideal within easy reach of everything Tuscany has to offer. It was less than an hours drive to Florence, Siena, Pisa, and many of the walled cities in the area. The town of Tarvanelle, just a few minutes away, offered many delicious restaurants, gelato shops, 3 markets, and more. The villa itself was lovely. We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom villa. It was very spacious. The gardens and views surrounding the villa were phenomenal. The mattresses in both bedrooms were a bit firm for our liking, but it was otherwise a very comfortable space for our family of 4. The villa owners, Lucia & Roberto, we so great to work with. They gave us a tour of the property upon arrival, suggestions with maps to local restaurants and points of interests, and were available at any time during our stay if we needed it. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return someday soon!

Beautiful, relaxing 😎 place to stay

We loved our stay at I Glicini. Lucia and Roberto were lovely hosts, friendly and welcoming. Lucia speaks very good English and she gave us lots of information about what to see in the surrounding area. Roberto keeps the pool immaculately clean and the grounds are well kept. The property is gated and the parking area is in the shade, very nice in hot weather. The apartment was spacious and very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans and dishes. The Co-op grocery store in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa has everything you need. I would definitely recommend this property as a wonderful place to stay in the countryside.

Maison comportant 3 appartements , nous étions dans le glicini 2 , tout est bien équipé, l’endr Est très calme , d’une propreté impeccable, piscine nickel nettoyée tous les jours par notre hôte roberto, vivement conseillé , Roberto et lucia sont adorables, si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit vous pouvez les appeller ,ils résoudront votre problème, très attentif au bien être des vacanciers, lucia parle parfaitement le français et l’anglais.. nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances... merci lucia et Roberto pour votre accueil et espérons à bientôt 😊 Sylvie,Alain,Francoise et les enfants arriverdecci grazie mille

Sehr zu empfehlen

Tolles Ferienhaus mit sehr gepflegtem Garten und großem Pool, der täglich gereinigt wurde. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr gut. Bei Fragen oder Problemen hätte man jederzeit anrufen können. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge nach Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano ... und das Chianti Gebiet.

Wonderful property in an excellent Tuscany location

This property has all of the charm that we were expecting. Wonderful views and centrally located in the Tuscany region. Our visit here was in early April so the pool wasn't open but looks inviting. Also , since we were there in early April , it took a little while to warm the place up, but once that was done the home was very cozy and comfortable.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Tavarnelle est proche de tous les axes ( Firenze, Siena, Pise...). Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. La propriété était très propre. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir ! Attention toutefois , Abritel n est pas clair par rapport à certains frais supplémentaires, notamment le chauffage non inclus. Merci encore à Lucia et son mari pour leur bon conseil et leur gentillesse.

La tranquillità delle colline toscane

Casale Glicini è il luogo ideale ove ritrovare la serenità e la pace che l’epoca moderna ha sottratto a ciascuno. I proprietari, Lucia e Roberto, sono persone estremamente ospitali e attente alle esigenze degli ospiti. Consigliato anche a chi cerca una base da cui partire per i visitare le principali mete turistiche della Toscana.

Fantastich appartement

Een mooi appartement met een zeer compleet interieur, volledige keuken met afwasmachine en oven. Daarnaast heeft elk appartement een eigen wasmachine. Elk appartement heeft een eigen terras en ligt dicht bij het zwembad waar voldoende stoelen aanwezig waren. Het complex is afgesloten met een hek dat met afstandsbediending wordt geopend.
