Windlass, a charming character cottage in the heart of the old village
The property
Windlass is full of charm and character. Tucked away in the prettiest setting of Middle Street amongst the old fisherman's cottages, this delightful self-catering holiday cottage sits within its own southwest facing patio garden, just a short stroll from the fishing harbour of Port Isaac.

Original Cornish features are very much in evidence, combined with tasteful modern furnishings and fittings creating a comfortable home-from-home.
The ground floor has a light and stylish kitchen diner setting the scene for wonderful, family mealtimes. Large rugs soften the slate floors in the spacious living room with cosy sofas and the wonderful warmth of a wood burner to curl up in front of for cooler evenings.
Attention to detail has been paid to all aspects of this wonderful coastal retreat. The cottage has a king size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a further king size bedroom and two single bedrooms.
Windlass also has the benefit of two parking spaces at the top of the village.
Port Isaac has many restaurants, pubs and cafes to enjoy drinks or seafood and other local produce. or you could take it easy just sitting back on the Platt watching the local fishermen land their daily catch with a glass of local ale.
