Don't break the budget! Family friendly unit with 2 bedrooms, 2 queen beds and a full jack-n-jill bath. Located in Swan Valley at the Snake River Roadhouse. Property was newly remodeled in 2016 and offers the best in food, entertainment and location!

Snake River Roadhouse offers the best of local travel experiences. This property is located in the historic roadhouse setting with plenty of amenities, INCLUDING AIR CONDITIONING! Snake River Roadhouse offers dining, full bar, and entertainment. As a guest you have access to pool table, shuffleboard table, darts, or go outside and set up a game of horseshoes on the professional style courts. There is a huge fire pit to relax around after a day on the trail. There is a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in this room!

Take advantage of this great area with "World Class Fishing" on the South Fork of the Snake River, trail rides are available just up the road. There are miles of trails for ATV's in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter. Swan Valley is named after the trumpeter swans that migrate through spring and fall. Many stay the winter on the Snake River. The elk and deer abound in September, through November with open seasons for archery and rifle. You will find yourself centrally located 45 minutes from Idaho Falls, 1 hour to Jackson Hole Wyoming and 30 minutes to Teton Valley where Grand Targhee Ski resort is located. *The hotel rooms are on the SECOND floor above the restaurant. There is NO elevator. You MUST be able to CLIMB STAIRS in order to get to your room. There are stairs from inside the restaurant that lead to the rooms (not accessible when the restaurant is closed). There is also a staircase on the backside of the building that leads to the rooms.

**The hotel-type rooms are available 24/7. Please check Snake River Roadhouse's website or give them a call directly for their bar and restaurant hours/days of operation. The restaurant is a completely different entity from the hotel. We will not be able to offer refunds for the hotel rooms because the restaurant is closed.**

Not the best and not the worst ever BUT...

Not the best BUT was the worstPlace we stayed on our 10 day vacation. We arrived after 11 PM on a Sunday and the bar downstairs was open and conducting business. There was an older truck in the parking lot running which the four of us thought was suspicious. The two bedrooms were small on either side of a tiny bathroom. In the advertisement it look like there was a common room for our three room unit.The tv room is to be shared with all units.😳 It is small, but is inexpensive.

Great Stay!

This property was in a great location. Good food downstairs. Very clean rooms. Very close to where I fished the South Fork of the Snake River. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and convenient

Very clean and check in was super easy. Convenient location. Only negatives were that there was a tv and air conditioning in one of the bedrooms. Not a big deal because we weren’t there much.

Place is decent, staff isn't super friendly except for the older lady, she was awesome.. made our whole stay. Outside is junky, don't expect to be outside, it's not fixed up nice... delicious food and drinks

Out of the wilderness

After our 8 day trail ride from Cody to Jackson, our stay at Snake River Roadhouse was a great retreat. The shower was amazing! We wondered around this small town talking to the locals and enjoyed a great dinner and drinks downstairs. Highly recommend this property. We give it a 10 out of 10

Swan valley stay

Looked for a quick weekend getaway with my spouse. We wanted something close to Jackson Hole To take a trip down the Snake River. We were happy with our stay here at Swan Valley and enjoyed the restaurant and location.

Sleeping quarters were nice

The sleeping quarters were clean and rooms had all that we needed. The surrounding area is an RV park with a lot of trash. The restaurant staff were very nice.

Clean and reasonable, yet lacks comfort

While room #3 itself was clean and in nice condition, lacked few important and practical pieces. Both bedrooms did not had AC. There were fans in room, but that does not do much in Summer heat and too loud to sleep with. One room had no screen on window to open for fresh air, and second had 2" long hole for bugs to get in. Both small rooms joint by small bath with broken ventilation fan and one lock broken. Mattress squeeked loud with every move and only 2 pillows per bed. Spent 1 night and checked out early. It is a clean place to lay head, shower and leave. Better use would have been to join 2 useless closets to give each room a bath. And add $100 of window AC to both rooms that would make up kn 1 day!

Middle of Nowhere Gem

The space was awesome. The back porch and patio was a perfect hangout spot, and the rooms were very comfortable. Not near anything but great views of Idaho and the Snake River.

Swan Valley Respite!

Swan Valley was our first stop on the way from Salt Lake City to Yellowstone. We were pleasantly surprised at the simple yet comfortable accommodations. The rooms were small, but clean and the beds were comfortable. The living room photo is a shared space for all the bedrooms. After starting our morning early departing Cinti Airport and driving from Salt Lake City - we arrived just in time for a delicious rib/chicken combo from the attached restaurant. Seated on the outdoor patio we were able to enjoy the sights and sounds of Swan Valley. We enjoyed both an amazing sunset and sunrise from this location! Would absolutely stay again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booked through VRBO/Kabino. They were supposed to provide a code for lock box to get the key, the email never came. Called them to get the code and was on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever answered. Finally figured out the lock box code but then there was no key in it. Finally found someone with a spare key. Not fun. Bar downstairs had music going til 1AM, this was not the case first stay so would still give it another chance. Permanent residents on same floor have dogs that bark a fair amount. Beyond that it is everything I want in a place to stay. Great location, clean, great restaurant downstairs. Would be nice if Kabino would get the key thing sorted out.
