About the host
Hosted by Tanya & Mike Barrett

After a lifetime of living in the Chiltern Hills in South East England at the end of the Metropolitan line close to London we finally managed to fulfil our long held dream of relocating to the South of France.
After many years of renting Holiday homes across Europe together we wanted to bring everything we had learned as customers about what made a holiday rental very special and apply that to our new business venture.

What makes this property unique
At Au Pont Romain it is the sense of history that captures you, whether you are stood on our Roman bridge, examining the marble offcuts from its previous life as a Marble cutting Mill, exploring the nearby Cathar castles or relaxing under a tree with a book. A 10 minute walk to town and you could be having a drink in one of several beautiful squares in the heart of town with trees planted in the 1700's or gazing at the medieval architecture in the 13th Century Abbey.
