About the host
Hosted by Sue Kendrick

We are Brian & Sue Kendrick who have lived and worked in the National Forest all our lives. We know the area very well having cycled and walked its many footpaths and explored the little known areas that make up the area.
We run a small farm which lies a few yards up the road from the accommodation where we keep a herd of British White cattle which you may see in some of the adjoining fields.

Why they chose this property
The Luminaire is ideal for a short break to explore this part of the National Forest. It lies almost adjacent to a nature reserve which in turn backs onto miles of woodland all of which can be explored on foot or bicycle.
We are just a few miles from several popular historic sites including Calk Abby, (the house that time forgot), Grace Dieu Priory and Staunton Harold, the scene of the infamous Ferrars murder.
