About this property

Just 300 steps from the beach, Harbor Lane Court is a 4 unit resort, with 3 one bedroom, one bath apartments, and one two-bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Renovated in 2016, all units are ground floor and this little resort has lots of Old Florida charm, with the original 1962 terrazzo floors and cathedral ceilings. Apartment #1 (Serenity) is one bedroom one bath and sleeps 4 adults comfortably with our queen size Bellagio Hotel mattress and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room. Look at our photos to see a site plan with all 4 units and their ID numbers & read their reviews. All units are full apartments and feature new stainless steel appliances: full-size refrigerator with ice maker, natural gas range/oven, microwave & dishwasher. Living Room TV features a Google device that provides access to our FREE You Tube TV account for all live news, sports, movies & more, so you can be confident that you won’t miss a thing. Also, you can use your own accounts for Netflix, Prime TV, Hulu, and a lot of other streaming channels. All streaming uses a 500 mbps FREE WiFi which works throughout the property so you can stay connected. Living room also has a blue-ray player. All Bedrooms and living rooms feature LED flat-panel TVs with a powerful HD Direct ClearStream TV Antenna that receives channels from networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CW, PBS, Univision, MeTV and 60+ more in full 1080 HD where available.

We have hotel-quality towels & linens, including pool/beach towels, and also have beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach wagons.

Our vacation rentals are located 2 short blocks from one of the most beautiful gulf beaches in the US and are within walking distance to food markets, pharmacies, and restaurants. The FREE trolley stop is just 1/2 a block away, and the trolley runs from the Anna Maria City Pier at the north end of the island to Coquina Beach at the south end. It runs every 20 minutes from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm. You really don't even need a car while on the island. The 4 units are Serenity (#1), Tranquility (#2), Sanctuary (#3) & Harmony (#4) and feature a heated swimming pool, courtyard, two gas grills, laundry room, & outdoor showers with hot water. The pool has a small children's area, & also a 28' swim lane. We stop by daily to maintain the grounds and make sure your needs are met.

This small but upscale resort has a relaxing tropical theme throughout, and just opened in late 2016. Everyone that has stayed here has absolutely loved it, just read our reviews! The owners are locals and will see to it that you have everything you need, and everything is owner maintained for quality assurance. Please come and give Harbor Lane Court the chance to show you what a relaxing island vacation is about. Rent all 4 units for your wedding or family reunion. Please tell us a little about yourself in your booking request, because we don't do an instant booking. We like to vet our guests a little for the safety and tranquility of our other guests. Just give us enough info about yourself and who you are traveling with to make us feel like you will be good neighbors for the other guests, and to assure us that you are over 25. Cozy Serenity

We stayed for eight nights in the Serenity Unit and enjoyed our time there. It was perfect size for the two of us. The location was great being only two blocks from the beach and near the trolley stop that allows you to travel the island without driving and having to park. The hosts had many little extras in the kitchen including coffee, sugar packets, dishwasher pods, and a roll of paper towels. The bathroom had two rolls of toilet paper, and small shampoo & conditioner. There are two tv's one in the living room area and one in the bedroom so can choose where to relax. There was laundry soap to use to do laundry on site. They had beach towels as well. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool. We enjoyed meeting Joan and Olga who made a point of meeting us and if had question responded to texts. It was a great place to stay for our first time visiting Anna Marie Island.

Christmas Vacation

We stayed in Unit 1 for a week over Christmas and had the best experience! The unit was spotless, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was somewhat small but very comfortable. The pool was heated, private and very well kept. The private trellis covered area outside the unit was perfect for our morning and evening cups of coffee. The beautiful landscaping provided privacy and added to the charm of the whole place. The beach was only two short blocks away and wasn’t crowded at all. There were places to eat within walking distance and the island trolley was free. We rented a car from the airport and only spent $15 on gas for the week. The owner contacted us via text to make sure we had everything we needed and was very accommodating. Check in and check out were super easy. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely go back!

Lovely Little Resort

Everything about this place was wonderful!!! Clean, well stocked with everything you need, beautiful pool and landscaping, nicely decorated, convenient location. The owner was easily reached if needed, and she checked on things regularly. Not far from beach, and beach chairs, cart, toys, umbrellas are provided. We would highly recommend it!

Wonderful place to stay!

Harbor Lane had everything we needed. We stayed for the week and you could tell the property was well cared for and well designed to make good use of the available space. Having the beach wagon, toys, chairs, umbrella and beach towels was perfect for our family. The pool was warm and very clean. Thank you for a great stay.

Great vacation

We are a retired couple from Tampa who stayed 10 days without a car. The location was convenient: close to Publix, the trolley stop and the restaurants. The owners were very pleasant to communicate with and fast in response if we needed anything. We stayed in unit 1, it had everything we needed: appliances, dinnerware, utensils - we cooked almost every day. The mattress was very comfortable. The interior was attractive, modern style. We were provided with plenty of towels, we even did not use all of them. Laundry detergent pods were also in the unit. Beach was a short walk away and not crowded. We enjoyed sitting on the bench under the tree shade in the mornings there. We saw manatees in the water. We enjoyed our stay a lot and highly recommmend the place to others!

Amazing, beautiful restart!!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Just a slice of paradise on a beautiful island. With only 4 units it was quiet & felt like you were at your own house. More amenities are provided than I have ever seen. Dish & laundry soaps, free laundry, pool & beach toys & more. The courtyard is wonderfully shaded with the palm trees which also give the units shade and they stay cool easily. The pool is AMAZING!! It’s heated which makes it a great temp to refresh your tired body after exploring the island. The different ledges & built in sitting shelves are great. The parking lot was also a huge plus. It’s huge as far as island parking goes. There are 2 spots per unit and there were only 3 cars there counting ours when we were there. I could easily pull in and then work myself around so I was backed in to get out easily next time I left. Even if you can’t do that you won’t have to cram into some tiny parking space. Being on the main road wasn’t really hard to get out even though it’s busy. And traffic noise was never an issue. You are also about a block from the trolley stop. We used that several times. And 2 blocks to the beach. You can walk down to the beach cafe as well. The location is just great. Joan was always quick to respond to messages and getting into the unit can’t be any easier. You can tell they take great pride and care of this place. I would go back in heart beat and miss it already. I’ll be telling everyone about this place and hope to make a return trip!

Property was beautiful and so private! Joan/owner was available at all times to ensure a perfect time. Renting bikes or walking made it super easy to achieve our daily plans. Bonus-made new friends that were also staying in resort. Loved Holmes Beach-2 short blocks-our nightly spot for sunsets. So many Bird/Animal Preserves to visit with no entrance fee. We are planning our 2024 Visit for many places we will visit. Go and enjoy!!

Slice of Heaven with central location to all restaurants, bars, activities.

Property is just as described. Lush, beautiful landscaping throughout the property! Each apartment has its own private entrance. Space was modern, updated and clean. So much thought to details! Headed pool, lounge chairs, outdoor tables with seating, tons of chairs to take to beach along with umbrellas, beach toys and carts. 1.5 blocks from beach. Communication with Joan was easy and timely! Would definitely stay here again! Great spot to rent all 4 units for bachelorette party, girls weekend away, birthday party, etc.

Perfect getaway!

Our one bedroom unit was just perfect. Everything we needed was provided and the place was kept impeccably! The pool is small but beautifully done and we found ourselves really enjoying it. Anna Maria and it's beaches were wonderful and being able to come back to a little comfy place at the end of the day made our vacation perfect. Will be returning soon!

Hidden Gem

A wonderfully maintained property on the main road of Anna Maria Island with ocean two very short blocks away, an easy stroll. Beautiful, clean property with lush landscaping, ample outside sitting and lovely pool. The care and attention to detail given is evident. The owners have really tried to think and meet all their guests' need. They were very responsive and often onsite caring for their property. The units were quite and serene even though it sits on the main road it truly was peaceful. A very fair price for such a wonderfully appointed property. You will not regret your decision to stay at Harbor Lane Court.

This is the second time at this lovely property. It is wonderful to go somewhere again and experience another wonderful stay. Our hosts are the best. They have decorated and equipped the cottages beautifully.

41 years ago, I moved to Anna Maria Island from North Carolina and rented one of these apartments for a few years. It was a great place to call home. Today, my partner Olga and I own it and have restored the entire property as though we were going to live in it. We paid attention to details and created a home atmosphere at a vacation resort. I also have had a screen-printing business on the island since 1985, so we're not absentee owners like a lot of rentals. We will be around to make sure your needs are met. Enjoy our home! It is owner maintained for quality assurance.

Why they chose this property

We inherited this property from my dear friend and business partner, John Lach, who passed away in 2015. We could have sold it, but knew it would probably be torn down and another huge party house would go up instead. My partner Olga and I knew what a great little resort it would make, and tried to keep as much of its 1962 charm as possible, like refinishing the terrazzo floors. We put in all new stainless steel appliances & replaced the tubs with low curb showers to get in and out of easier. I really would love to live here myself!

What makes this property unique

The resort is unique for it's Old Florida charm and relaxing grounds. All units are full apartments with a separate bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. 4 families can rent the whole resort and have it all to themselves for the same price as one huge house, then everyone has their own kitchens and own space if they want to get away and have their privacy. We take pride in the cleanliness and tranquility that comes from vetting our guests before accepting booking requests instead of doing instant bookings where you could wind up with a fraternity party in the unit next to yours.
