Elgol, a little settlement nearby, boasts "the finest vista in Britain"—a view of the Cuillin Ridge's terminus across Loch Scavaig. Take a memorable boat ride from Elgol Pier to Loch Coruisk, located in the Cullin Mountain Range. There are numerous attractions on the nearby Sleat Peninsula, also known as the "Garden of Skye," and there is a ferry that runs from Armadale to Mallaig.
