THe location of the apt is excellent, nearby all the “must see” of Firenze The apt itself is loveley, recently renovated, nice and neat furniture As there are plenty of restaurants in the ground floor you might receive some cooking smell some time during midday and evening Communication for making check in must be improved, though Niccolo who received us was very polite and helped us Overall I had a positive experience and would return

Excellent

Everything was perfect, the place is amazing, cosy and extremely clean. Have in mind, however, that the access to Florence by car is very tricky, once there are lots of areas with restricted access that are not shown in apps. But once you are in the place, it is just the perfect location! I strongly recommend this apartment for a great experience in Firenze

Florence and so convenient, but .........

The apartment was very centrally located and that added to the pleasure of our stay. There were four area's where the apartment fell down [1] inability to contain water within the shower - after each use you had to mop up the surrounding floor [2] the lack of a soap dish / holder within the shower [3] we didn't need a TV but the apartment looked odd with wiring and a bracket in place but no TV [4] the front door to the apartment building was unable to be locked; we were uncertain as to whether we would be able to access the building due to the poor state of the front door. We did find the apartment quiet and apart from the foregoing it was quite comfortable!

Cockroaches!

Extremely convenient location, however to get to the apartment you have to go through a damaged, dirty and unsafe looking door and staircase. Cockroaches were coming up through the drains, host provided insecticide which lessened frequency but didn’t stop the issue. Don’t stay if you don’t like the smell of frying meat (inside the apartment all day long) due to lampredotto stand outside, quite a pervasive smell. The apartment is dark inside and lacks privacy as apart from the bedroom there are no shutters or curtains, and the bathroom is at the opposite end of the apartment, so have to change in the bathroom or parade around in front of an audience as the building facing is only a few meters away and offices! Needs thorougher cleaning and hoovering as there was lots of dust and hair and also some minor repair works (broken skirting boards etc). The area is very noisy due to surrounding food stands closing late and opening early.
