Brocklebeck, cosy studio cottage in the heart of the Lake District

Brocklebeck is a charming studio cottage, all on the ground floor, open plan and sleeping two. It has a king size bed, spacious and comfortable, with stunning views over the Helvellyn range through the huge arched barn window. The kitchen has oven and halogen hobs, fridge, slow cooker, microwave and dining table, and the sitting area has a comfy sofa and a tub chair, plus TV/DVD. Attractive en-suite bathroom with bath/shower.

There’s an outdoor seating area with BBQ, picnic lawn and a shared laundry room

The shared gardens, woodland and fields extend to 5 acres on this small rural private estate.

Brocklebeck is a studio holiday cottage sleeping 2 people. It’s one of three holiday cottages converted from a 19th century barn at Brackenrigg in Naddle, Keswick.

Located on the ground floor of the barn with washing machine and drying space. Shared with other holiday cottages.

All our holiday cottages have:

Heat and electricity is included in the price.
Well equipped kitchens with just about everything you could need.
Cots and highchairs area available upon booking.
Bedding and bed linen are provided. Towels not provided. You can hire our fluffy large bath sheets £5 each per stay.
All duvets and pillows are non-feather.
Shared laundry room with washing machine. Free to use, located on the ground floor of the barn
Notes
Brackenrigg is set in 5 acres of grounds including woodland and gardens.
Ball play paddock with child size football net, and a range of games and equipment such as footballs, frizbees etc
Mobile reception is poor depending on your network, but there is free Wi-Fi.
All major supermarkets will deliver to Brackenrigg if you are set up to use their delivery service.
Booths supermarket in Keswick is worth a visit if you enjoy treating yourself to good food whilst on holiday. If you don’t know it already, think ‘upmarket Waitrose’.
The Saturday market in Keswick has interesting stalls, including artisan bakery, cheeses and lots more!

Great place for hikes and discover the Keswick town

A beautiful place with a fantastic view. We loved the birds and could endlessly look at the hills from the window.

Lovely property

This a beautiful property, well furnished and very clean. It is in a great location, great walks on the doorstep but also very easy to get into Keswick. So much to see and do without driving too far.We really enjoyed our week.
