Nice house. Nice location. Reasonable price.
5 minute walk to beach. Clean. Nice living and eating areas. The only very minor dings would be the lack of outlets, the garage/laundry room could use a refresh. A way to silence the microwave beeps would be nice too! Like I said, VERY minor. We’d stay again.

Well stocked beach house for family and dogs
The positive: The house had all the amenities we needed for a week at the beach for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. Plenty of towels for house and beach, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, toilet paper, etc. (So nice to actually have enough for the week!) Couch was huge for lounging. Plenty of movies to watch, books to read, games to play and a short walk to the beach. The negative: The house is a bit worn down and smelled like wet dog and dog pee, but after picking up fabreeze, baking soda, and washing the blankets... it improved. Kids room bunk beds are falling apart and should be replaced. King bed is very firm. Even with the above, if you don't need a fancy place, and want a well stocked home for your beach adventure... Would return! P.S. not. Big deal, but toaster was broken and could have used some oven mitts and couple more kitchen towels.

Pictures were not current--Living Room sofa threadbare. Low flow toilets may be an issue since it's an older home -- they required plunging a lot. The master bathroom shower dripped loudly and we couldn't shut it off, no matter how hard we pushed on it. Overhead lights in both bathrooms and dining area, as well as the bedroom with the full bed flicker like they're going outl

Close to walk to the beach
This house is close to the beach you can walk if you don’t mind walking hills. You can hear the ocean from Thai house but can’t see it which is okay because the house is spacious and has plenty of room to spread out. The 2nd bath is really just a tub with a handle you can pick up. The furniture is older but it serves its purpose.

Oceanside Beach House
This property is a cute older home with a few quirky features. It is a bit of a hike to the local beach, but there is a nice parking lot that we were able to drive to for easy access to it, and we went most every day. It was about a 15-minute drive to larger grocery stores. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were two dining areas. There was a large living room with hundreds of books, a selection of both VHS tapes and DVDs to watch on the large television, as well as a few games and kids' toys. The couch easily fit the four people in our group. There were two bathrooms that were adequate, but nothing fancy. The master bedroom was large with a king-sized bed. The two other bedrooms were on the smallish side, but we only had one child in each room so that wasn't a problem. The laundry area is accessed through an old garage, but it functioned properly. We were there during a rainy week, and so we didn't use the yard or front porch. It was a good base of operations to access the greater Tillamook Coast. The Cape Meares Lighthouse was a less than 10-minute drive from the property, and was a fun destination. (Google maps tried to send us the long way around, which is blocked off!) Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Roomy wth everythng you need
Nice older style home in beautiful Oceanside. Kitchen was well equipped, and so was the entertainment center. When we were not on the beach or headlands we enjoyed thumbing through a wide assortment of older CD's and VCR. Dog friendly too!

Family and dog friendly
The house is close to the beach. Communication was timely. House is family friendly in that it's filled with toys, games, and movies. Has ample towels and a decently stocked kitchen. There are some holes in the walls and is in need of new mattresses, but is overall homey.

Loved the area
There was unfortunately an ant infestation throughout the house and poison trays left without community. With being a dog friendly home and having a dog with us we were a bit concerned upon arrival and searched the house high and low to ensure the dog was not poisoned.

Great location. Finally found somewhere we could stay with the dogs!
Oceanside is a great little town. It was so fun being close to the beach. The house is older but comfortable and clean. The living room and couch are a great size, and the whole family spent evenings relaxing together there. Shower head in one of the bathrooms was at knee height, so that was a bit confusing, but you could extend the hose up high enough to use. My sister mentioned that the mattress in the bunk room needed to be replaced. We liked the little porch out front, and the honeysuckle arbor, which the hummingbirds loved too! They have a great library to borrow from as well. Overall a great stay, and we would definitely come again!

Ultimate relaxation
This is a place where I can completely let go of stress and truly relax. The energy is tranquil. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly. The beach is a few short blocks away. The pressure in the shower is like having a free massage bonus. The giant couch is SO comfy!!! I highly recommend a stay here!

Great location and price. The house has some minor maintenance issues (e.g. door knobs that come off and a sink that is not firmly attached to the wall) The toaster also didn’t work But, very close to the beach and clean.

Perfect stay for our family and dogs
Quaint, older coastal home that fit our family’s needs perfectly. Our teens and dogs enjoyed the extra space, while we enjoyed the easy walk to the beach. It was a wonderful getaway. The only con for us, would be the mattresses, they were very hard and uncomfortable. A memory foam topper or new mattresses would be nice. All and all nice, cozy place.

3.5 stars - Great location, has what you need, could use TLC
We enjoyed our stay and Oceanside itself. The house is a bit run down and dusty (my allergies kicked up on the couch) but it worked just fine for our family. Beds creaky, garage creepy (which is where the washer/dryer are), main bathroom tub cannot be used as a shower (unless you hold the sprayer yourself.) But the second bathroom's shower had lots of power, the kitchen was pretty well stocked, the kitchen table/sun room was lovely and the heat worked quite well.

Decent stay
The house was decent for the price wish the beds were better and that the dinning room chairs were not broken everytime we sat down the supports would fall off. The house was nice and warm during the day once the night came it got cold even with the fireplace going. The hot water heater didn't hold a lot of hot water. The internet was terribly slow which made it hard to do work online plus the password for the internet was incorrect so we found out to use the password off the box, but it was a nice good visit away from home would do it again.
