Excellent and beautiful 2-storey apartment fully renovated, located in a charming area in the city centre of Baixa, Lisbon, with 100 m², furnished with great taste, fully equipped, accommodating up to 5 people.

The apartment is located in a historic building in Baixa Pombalina with a lift, with a spacious living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite), two balconies and a terrace with a view over the old part of Lisbon. It has access to the internet, TV, air conditioning (hot and cold), central heating, towels, bed linen, amenities, hair dryer and iron.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, fridge, microwave, oven, washing/drying machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.

Professional and sanitised cleaning with certified products, following the latest international hygiene guidelines.

The location is very central, you can walk to any place in the centre of Lisbon or you can take one of the many public transports available in that area to various parts of the city or to the beautiful beaches of the Cascais line or the Costa da Caparica.

I love Lisbon
This property is very comfortable. It is clean. It is air-conditioned. It is in the old part of town and within walking distance of many of the cities attractions. There are good nearby restaurants and cafes with beautiful traditional Portuguese pastries. It has known less than three balconies so that you can enjoy the streetscape and the panorama of old Lisbon.

Phenomenal stay
Luis our host was amazing and went above and beyond, booking amazing activities and assisting in transfers at the end of our stay. Location is ideal, and very walkable, which was important as I was traveling with my Mom. Extra touches in the apartment like a bottle of wine, water, and fresh Pastel de Nata brought by Luis made out experience above and beyone. Highly recommend and look forward to returning again soon!

Gorgeous views in Baixa
In the heart of flat walkable Baixa, with easy access to the Alfama and Bairro Alto, this 5th floor flat is a 2-level beauty with elevator. Main floor bedroom has an ensuite so offers total privacy. Loft upstairs has huge bedroom with views of the Santa Justa Elevador, the Carmo Convent and from the small balcony of the Castelo de Sao Jorge. Well-equipped, modern amenities but old world charm (wood floors, iron balcony). Simply wonderful.

Very Nice Place
We had a great stay in this apartment and recommend, but it does have a few quirks to be aware of. Positive: The location is great. Amazing. It is very central, but quiet because it is high up, but it has an elevator to get high up. It is modern and clean. The view from the upper floor facing to the rear of the building is spectacular. The AC is great. Smooth remote check-in process. Responsive host. Soap, shampoo, washing detergent, etc. all provided. Spacious living room and dining room. Good sized bedrooms. Lots of windows. Good closets in the main bedroom. Other: The bathroom attached to the lower bedroom is TINY. Only enough room for a single person. NO counter space. Not even for a bar of soap or a contact lens case. The other bathroom is much larger but it is on the main floor while the other bedroom is upstairs, so if you need a bathroom (for example, in the middle of the night), you need to go down a flight of stairs. Not for the elderly!). Elevator is small but gets the job done. Washing machine is not very good at drying. A few ants in the kitchen but just a few. Wish it had a nightlight. Upon departure, we communicated with host that we would be out by 11 (the checkout time) and wanted to leave closer to 10 but would let the host know when we left. We packed and went out for coffee at 10 and when we returned around 10:15, cleaners were in the apartment already cleaning. This was not a big deal but should not have happened.

Terrific apartment, perfect location
This was the perfect place to stay in Lisbon, as we wanted to be in Baixa but not subject to crowds and noise [it helped that we were there in January, but even in busier times, this street is just a little off the busiest parts]. The apartment is what we expected from the pix [this isn't always the case] and the elevator makes the 5th floor easily accessible -- quieter and with views over the city. One particularly notable feature is the small restaurant right across the street [it's on the ground floor of a hotel] that serves a terrific breakfast which we had access to through an arrangement with the rental company. This restaurant is also a wonderful choice for dinner [especially on rainy days] - we ate there several times [we were there for 2 weeks] and everything was excellent + friendly service. Also worth noting two terrific Indian restaurants within a block of the apt -- but, then, it's hard to find a bad meal in [at least this part of] Lisbon. As we were there in January we couldn't tell how the apt would feel in hot weather, but it certainly was comfortable in chilly winter weather. If you enjoy walking around cities, this is an ideal location for exploring "old" Lisbon, close to so many neighborhoods and attractions.

This apartment was in a great neighborhood, a perfect central location for exploring the historic areas of the city on foot. There are many restaurants, a couple of mini-markets and a full grocery store within a few blocks. The apartment was very clean and included all of the necessities to make our stay comfortable. We didn't mind the stairs to the 5th level, and the elevator is a nice benefit with luggage and after a full day/night of sightseeing. The management staff was quick to respond to our questions, especially Monica. We had an issue with the washer/dryer, and she stopped by to fix it and re-explain the operation. She also provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and excursions. Our only advice to improve the accommodations might be to include a few written instructions (appliances, shower, A/C, etc) and the information for their guided tours, rather than try to fully explain it at check-in. Check-in was a 30-40 minute process, very informative, but challenging to retain it all after a day+ of travel. We would definitely stay in this unit and/or other properties that Martin offers when we return to Lisbon.

Pluses: Very centrally located and easy to get to the main tourist sites with a short walk. The apartment was clean and well appointed and the check in was seamless. Negatives: The neighbourhood was a little on the sketchy side but we did not run into any safety issues personally. The stairs were just plan dangerous. They overlap, so you can't plant your feet completely on a step. Both my wife and I are in good health, but stumbled on the steps a number of times, especially when trying to negotiate the stairs at night. We hung on to the railings habitually, so we didn't fall fortunately.

This apartment was just right for the 2 of us. Right in the heart of the action. Sitting in the shadow of Castelo de São Jorge, Praça do Rossio is just a few minutes walk in one direction and the main Praça do Comércio a few minutes away in the other direction. This is the top floor of the building so less noise from other apartments and the street below. The building sits on a narrower street, so there is a bit less traffic in this very central and busy location. We were pleased to be able to walk to everything, including all the public transportation available at Rossio and Baixa-Chiado. The owners were very clear on self access and provided good communication throughout our stay as needed. If you want to be in the hustle of the city, this is a great spot. The apartment is small, but efficient. We thought is worked great for what we were doing. We would stay there again.

Brief Family Stay in Lisbon
My wife and two daughters (6 and 4 years old) stayed at this apartment for a couple nights and had a great stay. We valued having the elevator to forgo the five flights of stairs. We also loved being so close to decent spots in the area (Cerveja Canil for beers and tapas, Copenhagen Coffee Lab for coffee, Confeitaria Nacional for pastries, and Bifanas do Alfonso for bifanas). Luis and the team were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, helping us to check in and reserve a tuk tuk tour. The one issue was that there were small ants in the kitchen that would it quit. If any treats or food were in the kitchen (even if boxed or bagged) the ants would get in. So we had to keep everything in the fridge and otherwise try to keep the kitchen spotless. Despite this issue, the rest of the apartment was very clean.

Stay up top and get great views, quiet nights and comfy beds. Living room area could be a bit more comfortable as sofa and chairs are a bit hard/worn, but overall this is an exceptional place for family of four or couple with friends who don’t mind steep steps up to second bedroom.
