Falsely advertised WIFI, very poor communication, we left after one hour.
This apartment is run by Clearbnb, who operate it from afar and with very little regard for their customers.
If you don't have WHATSAPP, they basically shrug and say they don't know how to tell you how to find the apartment.
If you are lucky enough to find the apartment and you try to access it on time, you will find it not ready. You will then be told that you have to wait for them to notify you when it will be ready. This, with an emphatic "Madam! It is high season!" But they won't notify you. You will try your luck again at 5pm and find that, while it is now clean, there are no instructions for WIFI. Your teenagers, restless and hot and tired, want to rest. You text: what's the wifi password and get only this: "sorry, there is no wifi".
Then you are asked to provide proof, madam, because they are convinced you have it wrong. You screenshot the listing: internet provided. No apology, no understanding. Just some administrative excuses.
When I say that we cannot and will no be staying I hear nothing back. When I say I've left the keys in the box - I hear nothing back. Finally, I'm given a vague promise of a partial refund. After a week and a half, no refund given, I write again and get a reply saying they've issued a refund for the wifi. I check my bank account and they've refunded me 41.00 CAD. Not for the inconvenience, false advertising, the fact that we had to scramble to find another place to stay at 6PM in high season (Madam) with 2 exhausted teens.
