The Space:
This delightful holiday retreat, nestled amid lush greenery and enclosed by a stone wall, promises a secluded getaway far from the bustling tourist spots. This holiday home includes a main residence that accommodates up to six guests and a traditional stone tavern complete with a restroom and a spacious fireplace for family gatherings. It features three well-furnished bedrooms: two with double beds and the other with two single beds, a fully stocked kitchen, a cosy living room, and 1.5 bathrooms. The terrace opens to a stunning 500 square meter garden, equipped with a refreshing swimming pool, children's swings and relaxing sun loungers. The home provides five private parking spaces and is situated in the quaint village of Nadin, just 20 km from the nearest beach. It's conveniently located near several attractions including Krka and Kornati National Parks, Lake Vrana, and the city of Zadar, renowned for hosting the world’s most spectacular sunset—a claim famously made by Alfred Hitchcock in 1964 and upheld by countless visitors globally.

The Neighborhood:
Nadin is a small village in northern Dalmatia. Located about 30 km east of Zadar, a coastal town where you can find some of the most beautiful monuments of architecture and cultural heritage of the eastern Adriatic coast. Zadar is a city whose past goes back 3,000 years. It became a fully urbanized centre during ancient Roman times and remained as such continuously for another two millennia. Its city walls are the ancient guardians of this still vibrant historic museum in the open, added to UNESCO's World Heritage List. It is an inevitable destination for adventurers, poets and writers. Its dynamic squares demonstrate the urban identity of the city and its authentic connections to the Mediterranean and European culture. The new symbol of Zadar, The Greeting to the Sun, is overlooking the Zadar Channel, the islands and the world-famous sunset. This contemporary installation is made of 300 multi-layered glass solar panels in the shape of a circle of a 22-meter diameter. Throughout the day, it collects the energy of the Sun and transforms it into the electricity, which is then used by and around the installation throughout the night. The Greeting to the Sun in the immediate proximity of the Sea Organ, another modern installation on the Zadar waterfront, and both have brought Zadar to the front pages of all the global media.
