About this property
Waterfront Cabin
Portside’s Cabins, Slipway and Crows Nest, are on the hillside overlooking Lochinver harbour in the heart of the village. Lots of amenities within walking distance including restaurants and shops. The cabins enjoy wide views of the harbour, marina & stretching along Loch Inver, with Mountain View’s of Suilven and Cul Mor in the distance.
Slipway is a cosy living/sleeping space with good heating for the chilly months and fully insulated to keep a cool temp when the sun’s out. With it’s own decking area you can enjoy waterside and mountains views all day and night.
The kitchenette is well equipped with a combination oven & microwave, an induction hob, fridge with small integrated freezer, pans, utensils, crockery, glasses etc.
There is an island/dining table, that can be taken out to the deck for drinks or a meal with a view. Within the nightly hire price we provide a kitchen supplies package, cleaning pack & kitchen linen.
The king bed has a sprung and memory foam mattress, lots of pillows (variety of firmness), wool duvet. Bed linen is included in the rental price.
Small wardrobe with hanging and shelving, underbed space for suitcase storage. TV has ‘free to view’ channels, Wi-Fi & usb charging points.
The bathroom has a large shower, sink and toilet. Next to the heater there is hanging/drying space/storage for wet coats, boots etc. Shower, hand and floor towels & a bathroom supplies pack are included in the hire price.
Crows Nest is on the top level of Portside’s garden, 50mtrs from the parking area, access is via an uneven stone path. We have a keybox & access is available anytime after 15.00 on arrival day.
In addition to Crows Nest’s decking space there is a communal garden. This fenced garden area is shared with Slipway cabin and The Mizzen.

Portside House is undergoing refurbishment throughout 2024. This will be mostly internal work, mostly installation and decorating so there will be minimal noise disturbance. Working hours 9.00-16.00 M-F.
To reflect any possible disturbance, Crows Nest is currently advertised at reduced rates.
PLEASE NOTE - There is a Dog living at Portside. We love animals but, at this time, we cannot accept any pets travelling with you as we have a small spaniel who is very nervous and doesn’t cope well with other animals. He has garden access but in an area fenced off from Crows Nest’s communal garden.
