Front garden with firepit and garden furniture. Grounds with woodland. Hot tub for 6 (private). 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.. Cleugh Foot is a stunning cottage, one of the original buildings on the Netherby Estate, overlooking acres of parkland along the River Esk. This distinctive pink coloured cottage has been recently renovated in 2022 and really is a wonderful bolthole for you to enjoy an amazing holiday in an amazing location.
The quality of Cleugh Foot is evident from the moment you step through the door into the beautifully designed and modern kitchen which leads onto the dining room. From the lounge, with its cosy wood burning stove, French doors open onto the gardens and give views of the stunning countryside. Upstairs the bedrooms boast cosy beds ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. The peace and seclusion at Cleugh Foot is just what you need for that perfect relaxing holiday. Viewing down your driveway in amongst the trees outside is just as impressive with a private hot tub, outdoor dining and firepit area with gorgeous views of the whole estate. Cleugh Foot is the perfect escape for people wanting to hide away in the woods with miles of private parkland, woodland and river to explore. Bliss!
Whilst you have the seclusion at Cleugh Foot you are not far from an abundance of local attractions and are situated between the Lake District and Northumberland National Parks. Hadrian’s Wall is a must or for something more energetic, explore the Border Reivers Cycle Route, where you can explore the region’s fascinating history on ‘The Reivers Trail’. Cleugh Foot is only a few miles from the border over into Scotland where you can discover miles of stunning sandy beaches along the Solway Coast. There is so much to fill your days in this beautiful countryside, then come home to Cleugh Foot and relax in your hot tub while taking in the stunning sunsets! Beach 22 miles. Pub and restaurant 2¼ miles.
