The Space:
Maritime has a bright and spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area. The perfect space for relaxing and socialising with your loved ones, you can retreat here after a fun-filled day exploring Scarborough.
The living area features a velvet sofa and plush armchair as well as a flat screen TV. Perfect for quiet nights in, you can turn on the TV and keep up with your favourite shows.
Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the high shine kitchen has modern appliances, cookware, dinnerware and glassware. There is also the added luxury of a dishwasher too! Ideally placed, the dining area is located in the bay window and includes a wooden dining table with four chairs.
Maritime has two bedrooms, both of which are doubles. The bedrooms inside the apartment feature plenty of storage and hanging space for your clothes. With plush soft furnishings, bedside tables and lamps, the bedrooms are relaxing and calm spaces.
The family bathroom is located on the main hallway and features a spacious walk-in shower, WC and basin.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the seaside town of Scarborough, Maritime is just a short walk to all of the attractions. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.
There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty.
Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 20 minute walk from the apartment where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.
Getting Around:
Maritime is within walking distance of all that Scarborough has to offer and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.
Scarborough Train Station is a short 20 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
