The picturesque village of Boscastle, with its picturesque waterfront and village taverns, may be reached in about 2.5 miles by following the trail northward. Further distant are the resort towns of Newquay and Bude, known for their surfing, while the natural beauty of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, the Camel Estuary, and Port Isaac can all be reached by car.
