Our stay was to celebrate my 70th birthday and the apartment was fabulous. I felt like royalty. The hosts were fantastic, location perfect, and everything was wonderful. I would love to stay there again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property is stunning! Like staying in the Sistine Chapel. The location was ideal. We walked everywhere on tours and dining out. We had a spectacular dinner in prepared by Ilaria, the chef. And the property manager, Lydia, was always available and accommodating. All in all, it could not have been better.
The location of this property is excellent. It's also spacious enough to have privacy but there are great places to hang out with friends. Everything was as advertised and would definitely recommend.
What an amazing property! Location is around the corner from Duomo - can easily walk everywhere. Lots of bars and restaurants. The bedrooms are all spacious with the most comfortable beds and fine linens. The best water pressure and lots of hot water. Slept like a baby! The hosts also operate a vineyard in Tuscany which we visited. Loved every second of that too. If this is available- book it!!!!!!!
Amazing apartment, great location!
We were so lucky to have found this beautiful apartment.
Very spacious and clean.
Wonderful hosts and we visited Jem in Siena!
Beautiful countryside and delicious wines!!
We were a group of four couples traveling together. The apartment was large with lots of room to spread out and gather in the evenings. It’s a short walk to the Duomo. Most of the major sights are in walking distance with great restaurants and grocery store nearby. Lidia was very responsive and easy to work with. This was my second time to stay here and can’t wait to come back!
The furnishings and the ambience of the apartment with 20 foot ornate ceilings is part of the experience visiting Florence. The Owner organized a wine tasting at a nearby vineyard. I highly recommend staying.
I stayed at this apartment with my wife and 4 adult children in late June. It was fantastic - so much room for everybody, and it had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. The feel of the apartment is so authentically Florentine and the painted frescoes on the walls and the ceiling of the main dining room are a wonderful sight to see. The apartment is conveniently located with just a short walk to many main attractions. If you’re going a bit further, the #23 bus stops right outside the front door where you can just tap on with your phone (€3 for up to 90 minutes of rides) and it will take you to (or past) the main train station. I would highly recommend this apartment for a family or larger group
The apartment is very comfortable and in a good location to walk too many things. We enjoyed eating in and appreciated the fruit and coffee left for us for our first day. Communication with everybody was great and we wish we had had time to visit Niccolo’s vinyard. The beauty in the great room and dining room is beyond real. The only heads up I would give people is the apartment is on a busy street and there was definitely noise at night. It really didn’t bother most of our party except a couple of us who are very light sleepers. Overall, a great place to stay.
Our stay in Nicolo & Jem's home, in Florence Italy, was all we imagined and more! The beautiful pictures of their home, on their listing, are completely representative of the grand magnitude of this home. The architecture and frescoes are fantastic. It was clean, well appointed, and had more than enough room for our family of 8! It's centrally located near just about anything you'd want to do; lovely shops, delicious restaurants, breathtaking churches, The Duomo, beautiful gardens & The Trevi Fountain to name a few. We hope to go back someday!
I was humbled by my surrounding to live in a palazzo drenched in history and elegance was truly extraordinary. Spacious gorgeous snd lacked mothing. Wipl book again.
When we arrived too early on the Oct 5th, Lydia was kind enough to let us drop our luggage and then she hurried to finish what she needed to do for us and let us come in almost immediately two hours before our arrival time. Our group was my husband, myself, my brother and sister-in-law and our daughter and her Boyfriend. all of us were in the most beautiful establishment we’ve ever seen! Everything is perfect. JEM is a true gem!! she accommodated us at their winery for dinner and we all said it was the best night of our time there. we spent a lot of time in the pallazzo though, with a few days of rain and freak accident that had me a little gimpy, so it was the perfect place to rest and play games and eat great food and drink, great wine! And when we ventured out it’s so so close walking to all activities and the Duomo. This is not to stop you from making these plans but to prepare you to bring noise canceling earphones. If you are leaving the windows open you’re just down from the hospital just a block away so there’s constant sirens all night and it’s right near the university so there are a lot of students who seem to like to have great parties and conversations right below till 4 am. but with the window closed it’s more than adequate. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ the pictures don’t even do it justice. You step back in time with detail everywhere. You truly LIVE in Firenze book now! STUNNING!!!!
