Another wonderful stay at Glenfeshie House

This was our second stay at Glenfeshie and it was just wonderful! The house is just stunning and so comfortable. They have thought of everything and the setting is beautiful. We will definitely be booking again.

Great week away overall

Excellent location and gorgeous cottage. Family and dog had a great week away and plenty of walks nearby without having to use the car. Overall property was fantastic and had everything we needed. General cleanliness could have been better, likewise some of the worn down furnishings. Never the less a great place to go for a cosy week away in the highlandals. Would highly recommend.

Another Fantastic Week at Glenfeshie

Stayed here many times and it’s wonderful! The remoteness adds to the experience and the house with 5 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms is ideal for a large group. No snow unfortunately but no rain either so worked out fine. Already booked for 2026 !

Stay at glenfeshie

House was lovely it made it extra special due to the amount of snow that was there outside. Made is very picturesque. Rooms where great location was great, enough space throughout the house. Aviemore wasn't far away and the butchers in Kingussie was great. We ate at the winking owl in Aviemore which was lovely and went to the soft play with the dinosaurs outside.

Another Great Week at Glenfeshie

I’m reluctant to give a great review because I don’t want it get booked up ! We just love staying here. Big house, well equipped including a separate fridge just for my beer ! Plenty of crockery/glasses/knives, forks and utensils! The staff at GNL are just brilliant. Helpful, friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Great North Lodges to book your vacation in the Aviemore area and Cairngorms in general. 2026 already booked !

The perfect forest hideaway

3rd stay for our family and it was as perfect as I remember it from last time. Some beautiful new additions (firepit and new sofas) have really added to the comfort and social areas. I love this house and will be back again.

Getting away fro 'it'.

Excellent stay in a large house with everything you need supplied. The wine and fudge were very welcome! The living room/ annex with log fire was the star of the show. It puts out far more heat than you'd think. Close enough to civilization if you want it, but so secluded you can avoid it if you do not. We would happily stay again.

Great North Lodges are Brilliant!

This was our 5th stay at Glenfeshie House and it still delivers outstanding accommodation, fantastic location and wonderful relaxation! The open plan living suits us all and the bedrooms are warm and comfortable! An observation is that the bathrooms are getting a bit tired but this is in no way a criticism, only honest feedback. We’re already booked for next year!

Glenfeshie House

Stylish and spacious property in the middle of the forest. Lovely quiet location but only 25 minutes to Aviemore and near Kincraig and Loch Insh. Would definitely return.

Beautiful House

Absolutely loved Glenfeshie house, very spacious, clean, beautifully furnished, set in idyllic location. Games room was a bonus for both kids and adults. Lovely walks close to the house. Only downside is that we could of done with an extra oven when cooking for 8 people, but that wouldn't put us off staying there again. Drying room was brilliant for getting wetsuits and swim clothes dry. Would definitely stay there again as the house felt like a home.

Birthday Celebrations

Beautiful house in an amazing setting. Well equipped, both inside and out. Having 3 fridges was great, given there were 9 of us, with lots of food and drink to store. Often find that rented houses don't have enough seating but this property seated us all very comfortably. Loved the firepit and bbq. The house is very artistically furnished, with lots of individual touches. We had daily visits from red squirrels, woodpeckers and a wide variety of birds.

A beautiful, comfortable house!

Our party of 10 had the most wonderful stay at Glenfeshie House in August. The position of the house, in woodland between Kingussie and Aviemore, and very close to Loch Insh with all it's water sports, meant we were never short of things to do, and the riverside walk from the back of the house toward Feshiebridge was breathtakingly beautiful. The house itself was warm and cosy, tastefully and comfortably furnished and very well equipped. We always look for a house with a games room (our family are ping pong fanatics!), and this house had the most lovely one. We would certainly love to return to Glenfeshie House in the future.

Brilliant house in the forest

We really loved our stay at Glenfeshie House. Walks straight out of the door to Feshiebridge and Uath Lochans, plus others, are great. There is no passing traffic, so totally quiet and out of the way. The house is spacious and comfy. The only downsides from our stay are: the oven is too small (even though there was only two of us), there is no welcome pack (just some fudge) and no bird food for the feeders. Once we bought bird food and peanuts we enjoyed watching from the window and had lots of different birds, as well as visits from the red squirrels, badger and pine marten. The outside space also looked good for anyone staying in warmer times. This was a great relaxing stay and we would recommend for anyone wanting to get away from it all.
