Pine Ridge Lodge - a lodge that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

Pine Ridge Lodge is a beautifully appointed lodge in Boat of Garten on the Speyside Way, close to the Golf Club, Speyside Steam Railway and The Boat Hotel.

Inside this uniquely designed Lodge split over three levels the living area has a vaulted ceiling, comfy leather sofas, cosy log burner and balcony which has lovely views of the Cairngorm mountain range.

The garden area is south facing and it is completely enclosed. Catch the morning sun on the Breakfast Deck, accessed directly off the kitchen. There is also a BBQ and a Sitooterie to enable the whole group to enjoy the garden all day. There is also a trampoline and table tennis, which is under cover. A large covered hot tub completes this amazing lodge.

Please note: this Lodge is designed to be bookable for families and family groups, other groups must contact us before booking. This property is not able to accept bookings from Stag or Hen parties.

Escape in the woods
We have been here a few times and always love coming back. The new tub is a bonus and fitted us all in no problem. The house is full of character and charm but has everything you need to make a great holiday.

The best family holiday
As this was our 3rd time staying at pine ridge Lodge we were not disappointed. The standard has not dropped. We were very relaxed as if it was our home . We saw all our usual places as the lodge is so close to all the amenities that we use .. we also saw the resident cuckoo. A dear and a osprey. Fantastic.

Perfect holiday home.
We had a fantastic break away at Pine Ridge Lodge, the house is very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We were pretty lucky with the weather and were able to make use of the barbecue and garden. The location is perfect with beautiful views and ideal for walking being right on the Speyside Way. We all wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be making a return visit.

Awesome weekend with friends
Once again Great North Lodges was AMAZING! We use them regularly and they never let us down, every property is fantastic, great location, clean, comfortable and creates a lovely atmosphere for the perfect weekend away. Hot tub, table tennis table and garden were great for a sunny weekend and the social areas great for sitting, chilling and chatting! We will be back again, and again oh and probably again :)

Pine Ridge lodge
An absolutely lovely lodge. Everything you’d need provided. Cozy and comfortable with , super comfy beds. Very spacious inside and out. Fantastic outdoor space in garden perfect for children . The back gate leading onto the woods perfect for a stroll or dog walk . The area is also perfect good shop nearby and has, also a restaurant and pizza takeaway. Bike hire with cycle route into Aviemore. Oh and mustn’t forget the hot tub Pine ridge lodge is just the perfect place to Stay and relax or be more adventurous in the beautiful area. I hope to go back

Impressive and spacious property
We booked Pine Ridge Lodge as a family holiday during autumn and had a superb week considering we had travelled north through storm Ciaran to get to the lodge. There were so many things to do from walks and cycling to just enjoying the peaceful surroundings and wildlife close to the lodge. We especially enjoyed the hot tub at the end of a busy day. We really did not want to leave and could happily have stayed for at least another week!

Pine Ridge Lodge
What an amazing week we had at Pine Ridge Lodge. The accommodation was very special, warm and welcoming. The beds were super comfy and all our needs were catered for. We also really enjoyed watching the wildlife around the Lodge. Hopefully we will be able to return again in the future.

Dog walkers dream
Watch the sunrise from the balcony, out for a 7 mile walk, car not needed. Late lunch at the Nethy bridge coffee shop. Home to the hot tub to ease the muscles. Dinner and watch the sunset. Collapse into a warm comfy bed! What’s not to like. Totally enjoyed the facilities of the house. In a beautiful situation surrounded by amazing walks. Property maybe slightly tired, but so was I at the end of the day!

Great to be back
I love this lodge!! The location is superb and the lodge and grounds are perfect for what I (and my dog) need. Some may consider the internals to be a little dated but it is so comfortable and welcoming and has all the amenities, facilities and equipment you could want. The only thing I bring with me is my own pillow but that is purely down to my preference for memory foam over feather.

Idliic, superb garden well apportioned lodge.
Superb and we’re just about to book again from next year. Superb value, ample outdoor spaces and really interesting , 100% secure, garden for our 2 large energetic dogs. This enabled us to relax and enjoy the various sun traps around the huge garden. Worth being up early and enjoying the course of wild life from the balcony. Rear gate allows direct access to the wooded trails and the various walks from the lodge are first class. Due to the layout the bedrooms are very private and individual The charming interior is well furnished, and consistent with a lodge of its age. Some minor changes if it was ours would be more outdoor dining crockery and the charming open shed at the bottom of the garden could do with a clean. Overall- a gem of a find and one we can see ourselves rebooked each year. As always GNL were instrumental in matching our needs to the property and their customer service is second to none.
