Superbly located with amazing views this contemporary property is built on two levels into the bedrock of the wall of the quarry enabling fab views over the water and giving privacy. It’s designed around reversed living, being the main living area is at ground floor (entry) level along with bedroom 3 and bathroom 2.
Please note that all the ground floor area is level access - front entry, hallway, bedroom 3, bathroom 2, lounge, dining and kitchen area and rear balcony — suitable for low mobility and wheel chair access. .
Bedrooms 1 & 2 are on the lower level (level1) together with the main bathroom and spacious utility room. Below this, reached by exterior stairs from both ground floor and level 1, is level 2 housing the 4/5 person Hot Tub and patio area.
The stylish contemporary interior is presented with under floor heating throughout, a central vacuum system, travertine and polished bamboo flooring, and well equipped kitchen. The exterior of the property is local stone, has a grass roof, several glass balconies with fabulous views and sitting areas with outdoor furniture. We are situated on a private track, yet easily accessible, with private parking for 3 cars in the drive. An enclosed grass garden is to one side of the property surrounded by a 1 metre high stone wall and other garden areas are around the house.
The area is abundant in nature and bird life and it’s an easy walk to the canal for a pleasant stroll leading to other footpath walks.
Situated near Carnforth, which has a variety of supermarkets and takeaway eateries,…….on the border between Lancashire and the South Lakes and a short distance from the M6. Our location is ideally suited for access to the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Morecambe with its sandy beach and coast, with many other areas to explore.
We have external perimeter security cameras fitted to the four corners of the property, which monitor the external areas only, for your and our safety and security especially as the property can be empty for periods of time.
