Guests will love the peaceful location of this romantic apartment, ideally located just 1 mile from the charming town of Bowness-on-Windermere, and just across the road from Lake Windermere itself.. All on the Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Smart TV, Electric Fire, Sliding Doors Leading To Patio
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher
Cupboard: Washing Machine
Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Smart TV
Bathroom: Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Back garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. A small hallway leads into this lovely property, giving space to kick off boots and hang up coats. The living/dining room is a good size, and flooded with natural light from the large windows and sliding door which leads out to a patio area. This sun trap is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of bubbly as you enjoy the variety of visiting birdlife which abound the well-maintained gardens. Just off the living area is a well-appointed kitchen, which offers everything you need to prepare anything from a simple sandwich or packed lunch, to a romantic three course meal for two.
The apartment sits just 1 mile outside of Bowness-on-Windermere, which is a popular town on the banks of Lake Windermere. From here you can take one of the various cruises which criss-cross this massive body of water. The cruises visit other locations such as Ambleside or Lakeside, where you can visit the aquarium or take a step back in time and jump aboard a steam train to Haverthwaite. For the more active among you, motorboats can be hired or if you prefer, paddle boards, kayaks or rowing boats are on offer. Bowness has a good variety of shops and a great selection of pubs, cafés and restaurants to cater for all tastes.
There are other attractions nearby such as The World of Beatrix Potter, Windermere Jetty Museum and there is also a cinema. Christobel’s Hideaway is also ideally located as a base to travel to other Lake District attractions, with world-class walking routes, cycling and climbing all nearby. Also available in the area are segways, escape rooms, a Go Ape and even a choice of Michelin Star restaurants. You’ll never be short of something to do, and you will be sure to come back time and time again.
