Fern Bank Cottage sits in the Forest of Dean with direct access to cycle routes and beautiful walks from the front door. Our cottage is an ideal place to explore this fabulous area.
The cottage is full of home-from-home comforts including a large kitchen leading into a spacious living room with a wood burner, Smart TV and bi-fold doors leading to a large, decked area with garden furniture. At the front of the cottage, you will find the snug, a cosy second sitting room with plenty of games and books to enjoy. Upstairs there are three large bedrooms, with the master having an en-suite shower room and a family-sized bathroom.
The local areas have fascinating history and heritage and cycling enthusiasts will find plenty of cycle trails. Bike hire is only 1 mile from the cottage. There are also two fantastic pubs within walking distance. Nearby our guests can enjoy Symonds Yat Rock, Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves, Stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, Go Ape and many more activities. There is good fishing, RSPB reserves, riding, golf and tennis. The market towns of Ross-on-Wye, Chepstow and Monmouth are within easy driving distance from Fern Bank Cottage as we are just 5 miles from the beautiful Wye Valley.
