A converted 17th Century Cornish stone barn in a private, rural location surrounded by peaceful private woodland & paddocks. Nuthatch is a one-bedroom, single storey property with cosy, open plan sitting room with wood burner in a slate hearth fireplace, kitchen, modern bathroom, vaulted ceilings and exposed stone walls, with enclosed patio and fabulous valley views, quiet location, and lots of wildlife. The Situation is as idyllic as it is convenient central to everywhere in Cornwall.)

We had a great time

David and Emma are very friendly, caring hosts and we enjoyed our stay at Tawnamoor very much. Surrounded by beautiful nature it is such a unique place to stay and a good starting point to explore Cornwall.

Beautiful views and great location!

A brilliant week long stay in Nuthatch cottage with my partner and our dog. Location was great, right next to Cardinham woods and Lanhydrock National Trust which we both fantastic for dog walking. We were also able to use hosts fields next to the property. Many dog friendly beaches 20-30 mins away too. Cottage was prepped with everything we needed, was clean and bed was comfy. Would highly recommend this property!

idyllic stay

The accomation is located in an beautiful and peaceful area and ideal for the short stay we wanted. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts and offered as much information that was needed. Accomation was very clean and comfortable and the use of their field was a bonus. Property also benefits from water from its own bore hole, solar and wind energy. Overall we would highly recommend this for peace and quiet with beautiful walks and views.
