About the host
Hosted by Sabrina Simpson
We love living in Shanklin!
We also love to travel and staying with friends or in houses when we venture away as we like feeling part of the community rather than just ticking boxes of what we've seen when we go someplace.
Since we do travel and we know how much others love this area, it seems right to make our home available to others to enjoy this area too.
Why they chose this property
Shanklin is the kind of place people love to visit. We love the coastal path and the esplanade along the beach, and take a one-hour loop walk along both EVERY DAY. We cherish the fresh sea air and the changing sea depending on tides, wind and weather. The access to miles of walking and cycling trails keep us fit. But also we love to eat and we are never bored with the choices right here, not to mention in every direction we can drive. The fresh food on the Island is a foodies dream, so why would we not live here!
What makes this property unique
We hope that by staying in our house, you'll be able to absorb a little bit of the warm light and the friendliness and the beauty of this area. Our house is cosy and light and we loved it from the moment we saw it. We've tried to make it a calm and welcoming space so you can relax as much as possible during your stay here.
If you need to do some work whilst you are here, we have wifi and even dedicated ethernet cable connections to make your time spent working as efficient as possible. Bedroom 3 can be configured with a desk and workspace rather than a second bed if desired. Otherwise, wifi allows you to work wherever you want!
