Fantastic- A home away from home!
Comfortable, clean and well equipped. Check in was easy and we had useful information emailed to us prior to staying. The property was furnished beautifully we particularly liked that it was heated regularly which made it very cosy to stay in.

So relaxing! A beautiful cottage.
The cottage was really clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well equipped with the essentials and the welcome tray was a lovely touch. The heating was a little problematic but this was resolved immediately. We loved the extra flame heater in the lounge.

Idyllic, Peaceful, Beautiful!
We booked Rose Cottage for a weekend away from our incredibly stressful jobs and it was exactly the tonic we needed and more! Amazing communication throughout. I think we've found our favourite escape!

Delightful, high quality fittings, plenty of space and quiet.
Excellent internal appearance, high quality fittings and furnishings, beautifully clean, very convenient location for many areas e.g. Chester and local walking. Insufficient visitor information - could do with a single file on show when we arrived covering all the details such as how to operate the all the heating, the showers and location of the freezer. Parking was advertised as on road with possible off road available - Steve sorted that without any problem when asked so I slept more easily as the road is a fast rat run and only just wide enough for 2 cars to pass. The Boot Inn is about a 6 minute walk and very good.

Enjoyable but could have been easier and better.
Clean, comfortable, convenient. We didn't like the lack of information as to heating system i.e. no instructions as to how to operate it/set temperatures/switch on bathroom heater. Also, we didn't find the understairs cupboard and its treasures until final night! House could do with an easily found then easy to read file containing all the idiosyncrasies (e.g. how to make the shower work with basin taps!) - please think 'ignorant visitor' when compiling.
