About this property
Villa Botela - Three Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 6
Villa Botela is a recently renovated three-bedroom villa sleeping six lucky guests in style. Boasting ample outside space including a lawned garden, private swimming pool and terrace, there is plenty of space here for a family or group of friends to enjoy all that Portugal's Algarve coast has to offer.
Located in the Carvoeiro region of the Algarve, Villa Botela sits between the popular tourist towns of Carvoeiro and Albufeira to the south of Lagoa. This area of the Algarve has plenty to offer visitors, from stunning beaches to quaint villages and delicious local food, there is something for everyone to enjoy. There are many popular attractions in the area, including the infamous Praia de Benagil cave and the popular Zoomarine waterpark!
Set in ample fenced grounds in a small residential area is Villa Botela. Despite the traditional feel of the exterior, guests will be mesmerised by the modern and sleek living and dining room. This spacious open area benefits from multiple windows and sliding doors that allow natural light to flood in and brighten up the room. The living area is split into two areas. To the front of the room is a cosy, sociable seating area with a few comfy armchairs set around a small table. In the main space, there are two large sofas set around a flat-screen television that is surrounded by sliding doors that lead out onto the terrace, making it easy to move from inside to outside. The dining area leads off this space and boasts an equally chic design, with a fresh white table and accompanying cream chairs, six guests can dine here in style. The kitchen has a more traditional feel, with blue cabinets bringing some colour to the room and contrasting with the rich colour of the tiles on the walls and worktops. The kitchen is equipped with all the expected mod-cons, allowing the chef of the group to whip up delicious meals for the whole group. There is even a further dining area seating six guests in the kitchen, so you can easily grab a bite to eat before heading off for the day.
Two of Villa Botela's three bedrooms can be found on the ground floor. With crisp white linens and sleek white walls, these bedrooms are a peaceful haven and perfect for catching a few winks sleep. Both of the ground floor bedrooms are home to twin beds, and one even benefits from its own en-suite bathroom for extra privacy, while the other bedroom has use of a family bathroom on this floor. The final bedroom is found on the first floor. This spacious master suite boasts a sumptuous double bed and access to its own private terrace to drink in the views of the surrounding area. This spacious bedroom also benefits from plenty of built-in storage for your luggage and its own en-suite bathroom. With colourful tiles and two sinks, the en-suite is plenty large enough for two guests to get ready with ease.
There is ample outside space at Villa Botela. The spacious lawned garden is perfect for running around and playing games, while the private swimming pool is sure to be a hit with the whole group. A good-sized terrace wraps around the pool and is lined with sun loungers, so you can easily slip into the pool to cool off after lounging in the sun. A pergola partially covers the terrace to the side of the pool, with an outdoor dining area seating six guests and a brick-built barbecue underneath. This is a great place to enjoy some alfresco dining and fine tune your barbecue skills. There is also a pool table and table tennis available at the villa, so be sure to get a little holiday tournament on the go!

Location:
Sitting in a quiet residential area in the Carvoeiro region of the Algarve is Villa Botela. This charming villa enjoys added privacy thanks to its large lawned garden. The traditional town of Porches is located 3 km from the villa and offers visitors the chance to wander around its pretty streets and pop into some local shops to pick up some souvenirs.
Porches is home to some of the best pottery in the Algarve. The Porches Pottery Workshop offers visitors the chance to learn more about the history of the town and how the artisan hand-painted pottery is created. The chapel in the town is simply stunning; with its white rendered walls and splashes of colour in the details, it is a wonderful sight to behold. There are also a selection of restaurants in the town serving a range of cuisines, from Italian to traditional Portuguese to more global flavours, so there is something for everyone no matter your preference.
The region of Carvoeiro is steeped in traditional Portuguese charm, and the town itself has been transformed from a small fishing village into a picturesque holiday attraction. One of the true natural wonders of the Algarve, Praia de Benagil, is located along the coast and is known for its magnificent sea cave. This stunning cave is truly unique as it has a round hole in the roof that allows sunlight to stream in and visitors below can admire the blue skies beyond.
The Algarve is known as one of the best spots in Europe to play golf. With 31 golf courses in this region, a number of which are award-winning and designed by the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Christy O'Connor Jnr and Sir Nick Faldo, this region is a true golfers paradise. The nearest course to Villa Botela is the nine-hole Par 3 Vale de Milho course. This course enjoys views over the Atlantic Ocean, with large contoured greens, lakes and bunkers, it provides a great place to practise before heading out to an 18-hole course. The nearest 18-hole course is the Vale da Pinta course, located just outside of Lagoa.
If you are a water-lover, then the Algarve does not disappoint. Not only can you head to one of the many the beaches along the coast and swim in the sea, but there are also a number of places offering SUP and kayak tours, so you can experience the Algarve from a different angle. You can also opt for a surf lesson, as the area has long enticed keen surfers thanks to its wicked waves. But if you'd rather stay out of the sea, then there are a selection of waterparks in the region. Splash & Slide in Lagoa has over 15 slides and attractions, offering a great day out for the whole family. The Kamikaze is one of the most popular rides, with its dizzying 20m decent sure to get the adrenaline pumping!
