Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the garden and a lake nearby. . Upgraded in 2023, this barn offers light and modern accommodation for up to six guests. On the ground floor enter into a well-equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer and dishwasher as well as all the equipment you should need to rustle up your favourite meals. The dining table to seat all guests, a shower room and then the lounge which is comfortable and cosy with TV and log burner, there is patio door access to a private decked area, up a few stairs is a quiet corner, perfect for reading or for children to play, on the first floor there are three bedrooms made up of a, 2 double bedrooms and a twin along with a shower room. Located nearby the property is a shop and a pub if you didn’t fancy cooking for yourselves each evening. There is also a front garden where you can really take in the beautiful views this place has to offer.
Kingfisher Barn has a unique location, located on the end of a no through route, it is quiet and peaceful, the trail that loops Carsington Water passes through so you can easily hop on and complete the 8 mile track, if walking isn’t your style you can cycle or just take part in the many water activities the reservoir has available at the visitors centre. Nearby towns include Ashbourne and Matlock, both worth a visit with their own unique offerings, there is ample to do from this location and you will take joy in knowing you have a wonderful base such as Kingfisher Barn to return to come the end of your fun filled day.
