5200 ft house plus mancave, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, Wet Bar, Pool Table, Large Sauna, Movie Theater that seats 11, and a new in 2022 hot tub with a view!!

All set on Sand Lake, an 800 acre lake that is on the state snowmobile and by ATV Trails.

Easily feed an army with the Gourmet kitchen which includes a 24" Viking griddle, dishwasher and subzero fridge.

Back patio with dual grills.

Large house on a beautiful lake

Overall this is a good place to stay. Huge home with lots of space to spread out. A number of things were marked broken or unusable in the house but that did not affect our stay much. This would easily be a 5 star with a few updates and repairs.

Great place for lots of people

Our group had lots of space and lots of fun. The house is huge and allowed people the freedom to find their own space when the group got to be too much. The lake was wonderful and communication with the host was easy.

Family Vacation

Took our adult kids and their kids for 5 days. We made many happy memories, and we highly recommend Leisure Lodge. Home was perfect for us and the lake was too.

New Year vacation

My adult children and 8 grandchildren enjoyed 4 days at this VRBO and enjoyed every minute. The hot tub was fun for everyone. The kids and adults enjoyed all the amenities. We had several movie nights in the theater room. The host was responsive to our questions and so generous allowing us to leave later then the 10 am check out.

Perfect Christmas Getaway

The place was beautifully decorated for the holiday. There was plenty of rooms and beds for our large group. Plenty of things and activities in the house to keep everyone busy and entertained. Will definitely rent again. :)

Our second stay

This was our second stay at this property and we still very much loved everything that came with it. There was plenty for the kids and adults to do and was a great place to just spend time with family. Christine was responsive when there was a problem. When we arrived the housekeepers just got done cleaning the place so it smelled very clean upon arrival.

House was fabulous. Plenty of room for 18’of us within six families. Pool table is handy. Played on it often. Boating and jet skiing were nice on that nice lake. Beautiful scenery and very relaxing. Everyone enjoyed our time.

Beautiful View

We took our family and Grandchildren to this cabin and everyone had a great time! It was very spacious, awesome view. It has everything you can think of for entertainment and cooking. There were a few glitches and things we couldn't use but we made it work. No air conditioning but the house stayed cool and rooms had fans in them.

Solid place to stay in northern MN

The cabin was spacious and a great place to stay for a large group. The view was gorgeous overlooking a decently sized lake. We visited for a long weekend and had a great time. My only feedback is that the ad describes a mancave as "weather permitting" but that equates to being unable to use it at any time during the weather, so plan accordingly. Christine was nice about getting us a cleaning refund for keeping the place clean.

It was the perfect size for our family. Lake was beautiful grandsons swam and fished non stop. There were something’s marked do not use, but we also had use to kayaks and paddle board. They could use a new screen on the screen door to hot tub. It was nice to have 2 dishwashers with our family, they worked great. Also the frig stated to leak on side closest to freezer. I did leave owner message about that. Consensus from my family was the spacious house was perfect along with all the water activities. The grandsons loved watch a movie in the theater room

Misleading.

The property could be perfect but needs many repairs. Not enough hot water. Broken furniture, not clean, freezer didnt freeze, broken cupboard door, drinking water not hooked up, no public access to launch our boat, no instruction or information for the renters, remote controls had no batteries.

House needs updating and repairs

We were so excited when we arrived to this home! We had been planning a trip with two of our family friends--21 of us total. The kitchen seemed ok at first despite an out of order sign on one, which was full of rancid old water. So we loaded the second one, despite the top rack being busted and soap dispenser being broken. However, when we went to shut it, it wouldnt lock shut. I'd say this experience summarizes the home. The bathroom looked ok at first, but the toilet continuously clogged. The water heater was a complete joke and hot water a scarce commodity even without everyone showering. The pump on the septic failed and flooded the basement destroying our friend's luggage, slippers and clothes. This failure meant we were down to one group bathroom (no shower was available) for 21 people plus the master bathroom, which involved going through their room to get there. Multiple things had out of order signs on them. The couches have rips in them, the light fixtures are literally falling out of the ceiling, the light above the dining table is missing, the bulbs in the bathrooms flicker like a horror film. There is SO much potential for this property, but it needs a few thousand dollars in maintenence & repairs to be rented out. The grounds were pretty and serene. The kitchen was well stocked with everything youd need. We asked for a discount to account for our lost items due to the septic and have been ignored. The house and amenities were nice. Our family of 12 had lots of space to enjoy. Pay attention to the other reviews before making your booking so that you're fully away of what you are getting into. Because of reading those prior to our stay (wishing I would have taken more time with them before booking), we took "before" photos with an app which time stamped the photos. The host accused us of damage which we did not do. When sending her the photo of the area in which she made the accusation, her reply was "I could make that photo in two minutes. Sorry, it's not going to work." Although there were MANY good things about the home, there were also many areas which were in need of repair - yet if not every one of them is reported to her upon arrival, she may accuse you of them in order to keep her cleaning deposit &/or make an insurance claim. I do not trust nor respect this host and will not be booking with her again.

Our family really enjoy our time here. The place is well stock with towels and things you need to cook in the kitchen. The lake is also beautiful. There are some things that are broken/can't be use but it doesn't bother us and our overall experience is fantastic!

Plenty of space, activities, and amazing views!

We really enjoyed this cabin! Plenty of space for our family, which includes 7 adult children and their families! Loved the large open concept living space. We were able to all be together while cooking, playing pool, or enjoying the beautiful views from the screened-in porch. Small beach area was perfect for the little ones, with lots of toys and floaties provided. The views from the hottub at sunset were amazing. The only thing that detracted from our experience was a few things throughout the house that were broken/needing maintenance, which we were able to overlook due to our overall amazing experience. Hopefully will be staying here again!

Great place to stay

Great property to stay on! It’s a large space with room to spread out if you have a large group. Lots of activities for everyone and the kitchen is very well stocked. You can easily book and never leave! Like some other reviews, needs a little love and fixing up, but we don’t expect perfection and we would gladly book this place again! Christine was helpful and responsive to questions, which is much appreciated :). Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your space.

Most doors didn’t lock and basement smelt of smoke. We were approved by the owner for the cleaning refund and now we are unable to reach her and haven’t received our money for the refund. The views were beautiful so that part was great.

Fantastic Property

My friends and I booked this property for the weekend and had an excellent time! Plenty of beds, amenities (the theater room was a big hit), and an excellent view of the lake. Great value and amazing property

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The other reviews are pretty much spot on. Is it perfect? No, but what property is? Bottom line is our family loved all the things we could do here and enjoyed being together. The lake was lower than usual which made boating challenging but the water quality cannot be beat. We will stay again!

Beautiful Cabin Trip

This property was very beautiful. Wish we would’ve came during warmer weather. Although there were certain things in the house that needs fixing. But overall it was a wonderful experience and I recommend staying there for a getaway trip. :)
