Oak Barn has an open plan living area with a Smart TV and electric wood burning stove, which is perfect for relaxing, watching movies and enjoying cosy nights in. This is certainly a property designed to delight, an ideal choice for couples and families alike where you can enjoy cooking, dining, and raising a glass to toast your memorable holiday. You will be tempted to come and just hang out, as you will certainly fall in love with the tranquil location. On the first floor are three wonderful bedrooms; the master bedroom is spacious with dual aspect views and its own en-suite shower room, the second a lovely ¾ double bedroom and a triple single bedded room; ideal for use a family room, and a favourite with the children!
Multiple French doors open to a paved seating terrace, a perfect sun trap to sit relax and enjoy the amazing uninterrupted countryside views. The garden surrounds the property, even having an enclosed segment for the dogs. Walking enthusiasts be delighted, immediately from the doorstep you have the voted ‘best walk in the county’ the Felbrigg trail leading to the marvellous Felbrigg Hall. There are plenty more foot trails worth exploring as well. Having a wealth of places to visit and explore, you are just 10 minutes’ drive to the stunning North Norfolk coastline. Also on doorstep is Metton Maze; explore the maize maze, bounce on the jumping pillows, zip wire fun, enjoy a tractor train ride and meet the animals (open from 22nd July to 3rd September).
The seaside town of Cromer has a pier, promenade, great places to eat, drink and shop. This Edwardian seafront has an iconic pier, which you are sure to have seen featured on the television. The beach is wide and inviting and perfect for in-season sun and off-season walks, and of course, wild swimmers can enjoy the sea here all year-round. Continue along the Coastal Road to the seaside town of Sheringham, also with a great beach, shops, eateries, regular market days and home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway. Blakeney Quay is great for a spot of crab-lining, and Wells-next-the-Sea has a picturesque quay to sit watching the pretty little boats bobbing on the tide.
Nature lovers will enjoy visits to RSPB Cley Marshes, Sheringham Park and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, you can be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in around half an hour too. History lovers will find much to do with Muckleburgh Collection, Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Halls and Estates to enjoy. The medieval city of Norwich is a must for shopaholics with two indoor malls, a theatre, cathedral, castle museum and plenty of eateries.
