Maintenance Needed
2 night stay but it was in need of some upkeep and it did not happen while I was there. 1st the microwave this place has was non-functioning as well as the lights in the 2nd BD. I even tried to change the light bulb as I saw they had extra and they still did not work. Also all the doorknobs in the place were loose so when you would open or close the door, the knob would fall off so as I didn’t want that to be happening all the time I set out to look for a screwdriver to tighten the knobs to the door handle. None could be found so I improvised and was able to tighten most of them with a butter knife. But one of the knobs didn’t have a screw and it was our bathroom doorknob so I was compelled to call the phone # provided for issues with the property. I fully expected to speak to a human being nearby that would be able to assist immediately as this is obviously someone’s residence, but the person who answered seemed to not be from the area and said there would not be anyone who could come out to the apt that day. I would also need to send an email with pics of the issues. I did this Friday right after check-in. I received an email back thanking me & requesting if I can see if the fuses are switched in the correct position. Well I know what a fuse box in the US looks like but in Ireland??? I sent a pic email of what I thought was the fuse box. Then they emailed me to recd a authorize someone to come while I was out. I did & left the key in the lockbox but no one came!! What????
