About this property
Seashore - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6
Unwind in this stylish and charming cottage with traditional features which compliment the modern design. Take your five human guests and canine companion to the seaside village of Southwold where you can discover historic landmarks, dine out at dog-friendly pubs and relax on the beach. Explore the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is filled with picturesque coastline and nature walks before dining alfresco with the BBQ in the garden or putting your feet up in the cosy lounge. Step inside to find a well-sized kitchen/diner with an island, low-hanging contemporary lights and a wooden dining table with chairs next to the bi-folding doors which lead open up onto the garden. Continue into the lounge and watch a movie on the SmartTV while sitting on the plump sofas in front of the feature fireplace. Climb the stairs to reach a family bathroom with a rainfall shower plus three bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite, a double and a queen-size zip-and-link. Outside is a garden with furniture and a BBQ. While staying in a quiet corner of Southwold, you’ll have an array of shops, restaurants and cafes within 0.5 miles. The dog-friendly beach is just 500 metres away and behind the property is a model boat pond (200 metres). Stroll along the pier and check out the Southwold Cannons and Southwold Lighthouse (0.5 miles). If you’ve brought your walking boots, head to the Benacre National Nature Reserve (5 miles) for wildlife walking trails around the lagoons. The 14th-century ruins of Leiston Abbey is 13 miles away and is an ideal stop-off on the way to visit the quaint town of Aldeburgh (18 miles) – which is full of picturesque Tudor-style architecture.
