Beautiful lakefront location, near several nice golf courses. The lake has crystal clear waters and is located near Lake Michigan, and Cedar Point-owned Michigan Adventure Amusement Park. The home is located in a quiet area with other nice homes. The lake is an all sports lake with a public boat launch. The home has dock and also a fire pit for evening bon fires. The lake offers excellent fishing for bass, blue gill, and various other fish. There is a supermarket located 1 mile away and also many nice restaurants.

Short getaway before school started back up!

We really enjoyed out stay at the cabin. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. A short drive to Michigan Adventure, which is why we were there. Had a couple down days at the cabin and used the paddleboat any chance we had! Would most definitely stay again!

Perfect Lakefront Vacation

This home provided a perfect week of relaxation for our family. We used the paddle boat, kayaks, and pontoon! Nightly fires and dinners on the deck. We will be back!

Lake House

Beach and views are amazing. House is clean and has nice decks to sit out on. Owner is very responsive. The paddle pontoon is nice to take out to the little island. I caught some nice bass off the island. Great place to stay this was our second time.

Relaxing

I love this cabin. They make great use of the space there. The kids loved kayaking out to the island and to the park to get icecream. The water is clean and clear. It is shallow a ways out which is. Ice for little kids.

Cozy lake house

House and property were exactly as advertised. Great deck with a perfect lake view and access for swimming, paddle boating, and kayaking. Excellent location close to fun options for the family.

Gem of a place

Great place for a family vacation mostly because you are far from typical City life and super close to several Lake Michigan beaches and trails to explore for the day; then come back to cabin for BBQing and swimming/kayaking and paddling around the lake until it is S'mores time around the fire pit. Price cannot be beat, soooo happy we found something affordable cause most stuff is way too expensive for a family to enjoy.

Great stay

This is our second summer at this rental. Love the loft sleeping for our little ones. The beautiful lake, kayaks, and paddleboard were all perks to our stay. The beachfront location, clear, sandy shallow water was perfect for our kids. The owner is very attentive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Great Getaway

Perfect lake house for family fun. Unique use of space with a fun loft for the kids. Kayaks and paddle boat were included and enjoyed. Clean, shallow lake for kids. Shopping, restaurants and activities were all close by. Looking forward to coming back next summer.

Great for a Family

My wife and I stayed with our boys, 5 and 8, and it was perfect. We went out to the Silver Lake Dunes one day, and Michigan's Adventure theme park was only a 10 minute drive away. The kids liked playing at the beach, which was very clean. We used the paddle boat to go check out the island and we used the kayaks as well. You can tell that the owners put a lot of time into this place and it really shows. 10/10 we will be back.

Great Getaway

This place was perfect for our family of four. It was a last minute getaway and we couldn't beat the price! The kids loved the loft area and claimed the upstairs for themselves. We got a lot of use out of the paddleboat and kayaks. The amount of boardgames available was great too! We would definitely stay here again! It was nice meeting you both on our way out.

Beautiful little getaway

This was a perfect spot for a girls trip. We loved being able to paddle boat and kayak on the lake. The deck was the best place to have coffee and tea in the mornings. The couple of questions we had upon checking in were answered very quickly. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Very peaceful. Our group would definitely love to stay here again.

Great Place

This cottage is a gem! I fell in love with this lake when i stayed at this exact cottage a couple years ago. The house is uniquely set up with a loft. The cottage is stocked and has everything you need and they have kayaks and a paddleboard for use. The lake is shallow a ways out wich is noce. There is an island on the lake the kids love exploring. We definitely hope to be back!!

Awesome!

Had a great time! The lakefront was perfect! Sandy and shallow/deep enough to enjoy all sorts of activities! My girls enjoyed the easy access to check out the island. They loved the use of the kayaks, paddle board, and pedal pontoon. My older daughter loved the loft! House was cozy and comfortable. LOVED eating outside as often as we could! Would definitely come back!

Summer's End '23

The views from the deck almost make the driving you have to do worthwhile, as the property is a little remote. Visitors on either side were quiet and everyone respected other's privacy. The one complaint would be the water treatment system. It needs an update to address the quality of the well water it uses.

So relaxing and quiet with a great view!

Everything in the house was exactly as listed. We've stayed at this home before so this is our second time! There's a great 2 tier deck and a very sandy beach area. The water is shallow enough for little kids to splash around and have fun. Beds are comfortable and there's a TV area both on the main floor and the basement. The owners are great! We had a huge storm go through one night with downed trees and many power outages and we received an email the next morning asking if we were OK. The house itself is very close to many cities that are worth visiting. We went to Whitehall, Holland, Grand Haven and more! We went on the Mac Woods dune ride and that was so much fun! We would definitely go back the next time we want to visit the Twin Lake/Muskegon area!

Love Twin Lake!

If you are looking for a family getaway on a lake with kids you can not beat this location. Twin lake is beautiful, clean, and a perfect size lake for all ages and activities. The shallow entrance from the beach is great for little ones. Our family enjoys swimming, fishing, and kayaking so this worked out perfect. There is an island on the lake that kids can explore. Bass fishing is good, and there are lots of blue gill right off the dock. You are only minutes away from Lake Michigan, which is a perfect day trip. If you like amusement parks Michigan Adventure is just right down the road. You can also spend an entire day in Grand Haven shopping, walking to the pier, eating out, etc. This was our 5th trip to Twin Lake, and we plan on continuing the tradition.

Perfect beach for kids!

Enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The kids loved the beach. The lake is shallow to way past the dock which made it safer for the kids. The deluxe paddle boat was a bonus! Well stocked and very cute cottage.

Beautiful deck views

Enjoyed using kayaks and paddleboard. Very clean and shallow lake. The Heron that visited on the dock every evening was a nice touch!
