Beware!!!!

I reserved this property then received an email to finalize my reservation. When I clicked thru the links there were additional charges that raised the per night cost significantly. So I immediately did a cancellation request. On other booking sites cancellations go thru without a problem so I expected the same. I neglected to check the email I use for travel for a few weeks. The manager took 2 weeks to even respond and only said there were no extra charges. He did not cancel the reservation. I received a call the evening of the reservation (I booked another lovely place with another site) wondering where I was. I informed the person I had cancelled, sent a pic of the cancellation request and he said he’d show the manager. I’ve sent several messages to both people I have contact info for and have received zero communication back. I even asked for a response so that I would not have to leave a negative review. It’s been a week and still nothing. Additionally, I have not been able to get any help from VRBO. I would recommend avoiding this flat and VRBO in general.
