Summary:
If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in the heart of West Yorkshire, look no further than The Hay Loft! A grade II listed barn conversion, this stylish holiday home is attached to the National Trust Nostell Priory site. Sleeping four guests, it’s perfect for family holidays and staycations with friends. Located in the village of Wragby, between Pontefract and Wakefield, you’ll be ideally placed to enjoy everything the area has to offer.
The Space:
Enter The Hay Loft, take a right and you’ll be in the spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Featuring exposed, traditional beams and crisp white walls, the space has plenty of character while remaining modern in style. The perfect place to relax during your stay, you can unwind in front of the log burner on the comfy sofa and enjoy quality time with your loved ones. You'll also find a workstation with computer monitor in this space.
Ultra chic, the kitchen is minimalist in style. Featuring modern appliances, you can really make the most of your self-catering stay. Ideal for socialising, the dining area includes a breakfast bar table and four stools. You’ll also find a pool table sharing the space, making this area perfect for fun-filled family nights in.
The property boasts two tranquil bedrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The master ground floor bedroom features a comfortable king size bed with plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have a great night’s sleep. Perfect for children and teenagers, the second bedroom has twin beds.
Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a bathtub, separate walk in shower, WC and basin. Featuring grey tiles and white walls, this space is clean and stylish. An ensuite shower room can also be found attached to the second bedroom.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to The Hay Loft are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Plenty of on-site parking is available directly outside The Hay Loft.

The rural village of Wragby is set in the beautiful West Yorkshire countryside. The Hay Loft is attached to the Nostell Priory National Trust site. Here you can visit Treasure House which showcases a world-class collection of interiors, a rare 18th century dolls' house, an exquisite painting, one of the first longcase clocks made and the intricately decorated Hongs punch bowl. You can also discover edible delights in the kitchen garden, relax in the rose garden, and walk through the gothic archway into the enchanting menagerie garden. The woodland adventure play area includes a 30-metre zip wire.

A couple of bus routes stop in Wragby. Hop on the 28 for direct access to Pontefract and Barnsley or board the 485 for a route into Wakefield.
