Podere San Giorgio is a 19th century farmhouse that has been renovated by recovering the original materials integrated with local craftsmanship: Barberino stone for the walls, antique terracotta floors, exposed chestnut ceiling beams. The choice of pastel colours for the plaster, finishes and fabrics projects the guest into a warm, welcoming and relaxing environment. The bright English-style veranda, connected to the living room, with exits to the garden and terrace with pergola, invites you to relax while sipping a glass of red wine and reading a book while immersed in the surrounding greenery. The living area is a single room punctuated by bleached beams, plastered arches and cornices in shades of peach and pickled white wooden boiseries that create defined spaces: The living room with fireplace, Smart and Satellite TV that predisposes you to convivial moments, the dining room connected to the retro-style fully-equipped kitchen which allows all the freedom of use that is required of a stay in a country house. The wisteria and rose-covered pergola between the house and the swimming pool frames the panoramic terrace that projects into the rolling landscape of the hills planted with vines and olive trees. We are in the comune of Manciano in the Tuscan Maremma, a stone's throw from the Terme di Saturnia, a short distance from Capalbio and Monte Argentario, in a countryside with a unique setting that offers many opportunities for those who love horse riding, jogging, hiking and mountain biking, with specific routes for each activity. The area is renowned for the numerous opportunities that allow you to range from naturalistic beauties to those dedicated to relaxation, given the proximity to the Terme di Saturnia (14 km), with the beaches of the Tyrrhenian coast reachable in 50 minutes and the Argentario a little further on, passing through food and wine routes and itineraries rich in history as evidenced by the numerous destinations of archaeological interest. The area is full of restaurants and trattorias offering typical cuisine, star cuisine and flavours of yesteryear, with Tuscan products known all over the world, including extra virgin olive oil, DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta = Protected Designation of Origin) wines and the production of pecorino cheeses at different stages of aging. Podere San Giorgio is the ideal choice to spend an unforgettable holiday immersed in the harmony of the Tuscan countryside, with the opportunity for multiple ideas, itineraries and activities. The house is located in an exclusive context of peace and tranquillity, yet only ten minutes by car from Manciano where you can find all necessary shops and services.

The wisteria and rose-covered wooden pergola, connected to the house with direct access from the sitting room, the dining room and the veranda, is used as an outdoor dining and living area; it is located on the panoramic terrace paved in natural stone that projects over the panoramic swimming pool into the surrounding vineyards and hills. The terrace is equipped with a dining table, barbecue, wood oven, armchairs, furnishings and relaxation corners, ideal for dining outdoors and for enjoying relaxing apéritifs while admiring the sunset over the surrounding Tuscan hills. The property is accessed via a manually-opening entrance gate that opens onto a gravel drive leading to a carport for two cars and an uncovered area for a further two cars. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
