Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Solar and electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchairs. Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac in a residential area, Ty Cwtch is a welcoming bolthole for your mini break or holiday.
This cosy and bright, one-bedroom bungalow is well equipped throughout; the living space is open plan and has comfortable seating, a pull-out sofa bed and TV. The dining table can expand to create a larger workspace and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a separate bedroom with a double bed and plenty of storage space as well as an en-suite walk-in shower room.
Porthcawl is one of South Wales’ most popular seaside towns, with great beaches, a theatre, The Grand Pavillion and an amusement park. The town is much loved and has a welcoming and nostalgic feel to it. There is something on offer for everyone, with activities for all ages. There are sandy and rocky beaches to explore where you can build yourself a sandcastle, or simply sit and enjoy the views. Rest Bay Beach is particularly popular for surfers, swimmers and body boarders and is home to a water activity centre where you can book lessons or hire some kit and go and catch the waves.
You can horse ride on the beach and track across the sand dunes, or simply enjoy the coastline with a leisurely walk along the coastal path. The bustling front has lots to offer in terms of entertainment, whether you are browsing local shops and boutiques, visiting the amusement park, or heading to the pavilion to see a show. There are lots of choices for dining in Porthcawl with many independent pubs, a lovely array of restaurants and cafés to choose from. The town is also a popular spot for some unique annual events, most notably the world-renowned Elvis Festival which is the largest in the world outside of Memphis as well as golf tournaments at the Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. If you prefer a more leisurely time, The Wilderness Lake is a gentle 2- minute stroll away, where you can feed the ducks and swans; there’s also a super play park for the children and the many coffee shops.
