Lovely little house, clean and comfortable with everything you need in a home away from home close to Barnsley town centre. Fresh, tasteful, well equipped 2-story mid-terrace on residential road a stroll from town centre. Convenient for M1, Peak District National Park, Barnsley hospital, Cannon Hall & Cawthorne area.

Great base for weekends in South Yorkshire, or your own space when working away from home during the week.

1 double, 1 single bed. Fully tiled shower room.

Outside sitting area, free parking on road.

Guest age policy: 23yrs+ only.

The space

Well-equipped, 2-story mid-terraced house in a modest residential street a short walk from Barnsley Centre.

Open plan downstairs living room and kitchen. One double, one single bedroom and a shower room upstairs.

In the living room are a large L-shaped sofa, armchair, coffee & side tables, smartTV, and a small desk & chair.

The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal including microwave, oven & hob, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge freezer and washer-dryer.

From the kitchen you access the paved outside area which is open to the neighbouring properties.

In the double bedroom are a double wardrobe, chest of drawers, two bedside tables and lamps. The small single bedroom has a built in cupboard and bedside unit and lamp. The bathroom is fully tiled with a walk in shower (no bath).

High thread-count bed linens and the thick cotton towels help make you extra comfortable.

If you have any special requests or have any questions I am happy to help.

You will have the entire home to yourself.

The secure key box makes it very easy for you to arrive whenever suits you.

You will be sent detailed instructions on how to gain access and the essentials you need to know as soon as you arrive - hot water, heat, wi-fi & so on.

Other things to note
Guests over 23 years please - unless younger guests are with adult family members.

A booking for 2 people is assumed to be for the double bedroom. Please let me know if the 2 people will be using separate beds so the house is prepped appropriately for you.

Parking is on the road. It is a no-through-road so you don't get a lot of traffic.

Rooms have individual electric radiators with timers and thermostats. The hot water has an electric timer so everything can be individually controlled.

Great place to stay!
The house was great and we recommend it. Very clean. Easy entry. You must be able to walk up stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom. Trudi did a good job communicating with us. We hired a car and always had parking in front of the house, on the street. The street is a normal narrow one. The grocery store, Morrison's, is pretty close and there is a very little market around the corner that we walked to. The kitchen and living room had everything we needed. We are not used to driving on the left-hand side of the street so we walked to downtown Barnsley to avoid traffic and parking. We also drove there. We didnt see any buses near the house. We didn't pay that much attention to buses since we had a car. Overall, we really enjoyed the house and definitely recommend it!
