I bought my family for our annual trip to Narragansett. The house was perfectly located. Walking distance to the beach and a short walk down the beach to the jetty and views of Point Judith Lighthouse. It was the perfect spot to watch the sunset. It was also very quiet. Short car ride into town as well.
Plenty of room to spread out for two families (9 people total). The kitchen was well stocked with all manner of plates, cookware, glasses, etc. The deck was a great place for meals and relaxing with an expansive view. Easy walk to beach, house was stocked with plenty of beach chairs and beach toys (great for kids). Would absolutely return for another stay.
What a comfortable lovely home. We had a cold, cloudy day and the living room was warm and cozy and we were able to play cards and games and be together comfortably and enjoy the time. Everyone enjoyed the home, the beds were cozy and towels were nice and bathrooms were sparkly and nice. Appliances were all new and kitchen had spices and other nice extras that most rentals don't have. I really hope we can come back; this was a treasure.
Great location, pretty house. Kitchen is on the third floor so bringing all the food upstairs is a work out. The kitchen floor is the only thing that needs work. Many of the tiles are broken. In all a good vacation home.
We decided to celebrate our son's graduation from Brown with a mini-coastal vacation. It was a quick easy drive from Providence. The house was perfect for our entire family. Plenty of room to spread out. Gorgeous views of the ocean. The beach is a quick walk and was actually very nice (weather was a bit chilly but that is time of year.) Highly recommend.
Enjoyed our stay. Deck under the picnic table could have been cleaner along with the grill. The response time on issues was terrific. Cable is always nice if available. Wi-fi works well. Nice to see new refrigerator and stove. Look forward to visiting again. Please let us know availability. Thank you
This was the most beautiful house I’ve ever stayed in. Not only is the actual house itself fantastic, but it is so nicely decorated! I stayed here with my sister and a few friends to enjoy Memorial Day weekend! This was such an amazing stay I wish we can go back already! The host was very well organized and already answered any questions I may have had in a helpful binder they provided! Such a great experience!
This house is perfect, at least for my family! It is super clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated, air conditioned, a 5 minute walk to a private beach, and has fabulous views.
We were there on a multigenerational vacation - my husband and me, our mothers, and our 2 kids home from college for the summer. The bedrooms worked out perfectly and there are plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The bathroom in the primary bedroom is to die for.
I fully plan on making a trip to this house an annual tradition, if Heather and Bobby will have us.
We had the best time!
Our families had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was lovely and very comfortable. We had everything we needed, including great beach supplies and yard toys/games for the kids. The big yard was an added bonus, and the owners were very responsive and generous. Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to others.
Although we had a very rainy weekend, there was plenty of space for our mother daughter weekend (URI college friends and moms) to hang out in the large living room and play games, and cook a big meal. 5 bedroom gave us the perfect amount of space. The host was very accommodating and we had everything we needed.
The home was wonderful. The location was great! The owner was extremely helpful & responsive.
The weekend was unseasonably warm for early September. The AC was a bit challenging.
Would recommend to friends.
Stayed the night before my wedding with a few close friends and family, ladies got ready day of and the setup was great for this. Family of the bride stayed night of and had plenty of space for each couple to be comfortable. Thank you for providing a quiet retreat during a usually stressful day!
family gathering: thanksgiving and an engagement announcement
As we live in 2 different cities and 3 different homes, this was a wonderful way to meet. We really like the friendliness of Rhode Islanders and its maritime settings. Our hosts were very helpful and the house well cared for in general but I wish they'd been more insistent in their notices on the fact that the house is 4 stories high, as we had two small children who were dragged up the stairs for naps and bedtime. And of course the terror of one of them getting to the stairs. We enjoyed being up at the top of the house; also found the kitchen pretty handy (appliances all working, etc) though it's a shame about the large island that cut it in half. The rug up there in the dining area was slippery and (we didn't mind but just FYI) a lot of the tiles in the kitchen and dining areas are loose or cracked. Many bitter comments about the mattresses, overstuffed pillows, and the linens used on the beds, but everyone slept fairly well. We had awful weather--not the landlord's fault! Great house, not good for infants, and probably not great for winter weather either.

Beautiful home! However, I am only giving it 3stars because the kitchen had dirty dishes.
Beautiful property. The owner was easy to reach and responded quickly to any questions we had. The kitchen was not well stocked, it did not have proper utensils for cooking.
My group of middle aged very sporty friends decided to run and run/walk the Newport 10 miler. We found this beautiful home with lovely water views, a good cooking kitchen for shared meals and perfect buffet serving bar. The customer service of this VRBO team is fantastic in providing proactive communication for check in and check out and being so responsive with any questions. I definitely recommend this home as well as the home owner.
This was an excellent home for my family to enjoy during our granddaughters wedding It’s beautifully furnished, light and airy, with a well equipped and lovely tile kitchen. One small thing: the master room bed is quite high, and it might be helpful to have a step stool to get up on!! The owner, Heather was very accommodating and flexible.
Loved the house for our size family, but the air conditioning was not working in the master suite, the other bedrooms a/c were not adequate, the grill had not been cleaned in years ( the host did get it cleaned after a call). For the price of this VRBO these things should not have been an issue.
3.5 stars. In a great location. The property is lovely. For the price charged, we would have liked more attention to detail. A small example, the listing said there would be some k-cups available for the coffee maker. They weren't there when we arrived. Upon messaging the host to see if they were hidden somewhere, she said, "No, the cleaning crew probably forgot to tell us they ran out." She said there was ground coffee in the pantry.
We had issues with guest bathroom plumbing. There was a whistling through the pipes when flushing or showering in one of the bathrooms. We just dealt with it so didn't call. On the last full day, that same bathroom intermittently stopped flushing. We did let the host know, and she was apologetic and offered to send someone out, but as it was the last day, we declined because there were two other bathrooms.
The kitchen floor tiles have cracks and are a bit wobbly. There was evidence around the house that the cleaning crew isn’t thorough. The deck table and the deck underneath the table were dirty. There were old contact lenses left on a bedside table and there was some mold around kitchen faucet.
Having said all that, we had a good time on Point Judith and in the area.

Fantastic place for families and large groups!
This house was the perfect place for a family weekend away to celebrate my mother's birthday. The views from the main living space (3rd floor) were phenomenal! Morning views of the ocean and nightly sunsets were incredible. The house is located at the end of the street so there was some privacy from the (very) close beach houses near the water. We really enjoyed the spacious yard but also the close proximity to the beach. The water was within walking distance. The house was well stocked with linens and dishes but some cooking supplies were limited. Was fine for us but others may find they wish to bring items they want to have. The basics are there. It's also not necessarily a house for older folks as you do have to climb stairs each time you go to and from the house. This was a bit tiring for my mother after 3 days but it was no problem for the younger people (just something to keep in mind). Was only really an issue bringing in all our things (and groceries) and bringing it all back out. Overall the property was a dream and we would love to return in the warmer months!
October isn’t typically the time to get off to Rhode Island shore but we had a fantastic weather weekend being able to all come together to celebrate a family members birthday. The house provided plenty of space for everyone to be together and had great views and privacy
