Perfect location in Cotswolds

We had a fabulous few days in Tukes cottage. Great location and handy for getting anywhere. It's clean and tidy and has everything you need. Parking is a few streets away but no problem as directions were easy to follow. Will stay here again soon

Nice Cottage, Great Location

We had a lovely 4 night stay in Tukes Cottage. It was a spur of the moment decision and we were able to obtain the booking on the day of travel thanks to some good work by the agent. The cottage is in a good location just a few minutes walk away from the pubs and restaurants in Chipping Norton and a good base for exploring the wider Cotswold region. There is a space outside the cottage to pick up and drop off luggage and a free long stay car park just 300 metres away. The cottage itself was nice and reasonably well equipped but the lounge would benefit from an upgrade to the furniture. There were only two of us but it might have been a little too cosy if at full occupancy. The large back garden was a real plus in the beautiful weather but the yard outside the back door could do with some maintenance.

Well-maintained, homey, comfortable

It’s rare these days to find a rental that is set up for someone to actually live there comfortably for an extended time — usually the facilities are good enough to put up with for a few days, but quirky at best. This house is a home. Everything just makes sense, from the towel racks over the radiators to the bath/shower to the furnishings.Communication from the property management company was solid, and the local contacts were prompt and helpful. It was easy to follow the instructions to the lockbox. Parking is a little tricky, with "unrestricted" (24-hour) parking only available in nearby streets except on Sundays. The garden is up some steep stairs, but that's not atypical for the area. Bedrooms were very comfortable and it was nice to have a half bath on the ground floor. The TV worked fine and the wifi was strong and easy to connect to. The drying rack was helpful; we visited partway through our trip and needed to wash clothes. It's a short walk to a set of shops and pubs in Chipping Norton, so we had lots of options for breakfast and dinner. There's a small grocery and drug store close by as well, very convenient. We'd definitely stay here again; it was the best experience we had in our 2 week trip around England.

It was all good as it was as described , comfortable with extra blankets if nèeded and clear helpful instructions on heating. The town and amenities in short walking distance.

Great mini break at cosy Tukes cottage

Very enjoyable stay at Tukes Cottage which is well equipped, cosy with open fire which was a bonus, and helpful hosts. It’s also in a great location, quiet road but only minutes from village centre. Just what was needed for a relaxing break!

New Years stay

My partner, our dogs and I stayed in this lovely cottage to welcome in 2025 and very much enjoyed our stay. It is centrally located in Chipping Norton, has a lovely (and huge!) back garden and a wonderful wood burning stove to enjoy a cozy night in front of the fire. It’s within walking distance of two grocery stores, a great pub (the Fox) and a wonderful independent coffee shop. The hosts were very communicative and warm and I would stay here again!

Dog Friendly?

Lovely cottage but not great for dogs. The garden is nice but to access you have to take dogs on a lead down a public area and up steep steps. Could not leave dogs there on their own while busy in the house. Also on street parking is nearby but we struggled to get a space sometimes.

Great Location & Garden

We have just stayed for the weekend at Tukes Cottage which is in a great location to discover the Cotswolds and to walk to local amenities in ‘Chippy’ Having the enclosed garden for the dog was fab and we were really lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting out to relax after a long walk. The cottage provided everything we needed for our stay - perhaps a little bit dated though with a 90’s feel to the decor. The main bedroom is a tight squeeze past the tv and end of bed but perfectly manageable. It was also very hot upstairs - and we needed all the windows open. (The main bedroom being roadside with some traffic noise which may be worse during the week) Overall though great stay and would recommend.

Cosy Cottage

A lovely cozy cottage. Very well kitted out and clean. Ok space for 2 adults and 2 small children. Great location. Only negative is the garden is not attached to the house, it is through a courtyard and up some very steep stairs and cannot be seen from the house. Stay Cotswold was great and will use company again.

Lovely break at Tukes cottage

We have just returned from our short break at Tukes cottage. The cottage is ideally located to explore the area, the cottage is in in the heart of the town. The cottage was clean and comfortable everything you need for a short break, The beds were very comfortable! And we managed a cuppa in the garden. I would recommend Tukes cottage only downside would be if you had poor mobility Steep stairs to bedrooms and garden . We would certainly go again.

Fabulous place

Fabulous place in a perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Cottage was super clean and had everything you could possibly need, comfortable, warm and cosy. Beautiful elevated garden which must be a joy in spring and summer months. Parking was easy with the owners clear instructions. My car never moved all weekend as cottage is within easy walking distance in to Chipping Norton, which has lovely shops and pubs and restaurants. Tukes Cottage is little gem

Fun weekend getaway spot

Property was perfect for our small family for a short getaway. Well stocked with kitchenware and a very nice welcoming bottle of wine from the property owner. Really cute animal pictures and decor. Pretty garden in the backyard. Loved the village as well, and especially the children's park a short walk from the property. Diddly Squat Farm Shop was a lovely 35 min walk through the countryside. Property manager was responsive and very helpful with any questions.
