About this property
Ideally located within a beautiful part of the Lincolnshire Wolds
Located along a private track in the picturesque village of Great Limber, The Vicarage is ideally located for guests to enjoy this beautiful part of the Lincolnshire Wolds, on foot, by bicycle or by car.
Once you step inside this magnificent house you will delight in how its period charm seamlessly blends with stylish modern furnishings and traditional finishing touches that the owners have thoughtfully provided. Full height windows flood the drawing room and formal sitting room with natural light and generous sumptuous seating allows you to sit back, relax and take in the stunning views across the gardens. On those dark winter evenings you can close the original wooden shutters, light the fires and enjoy a cosy evening relaxing with friends.
The dining room has retained all the charm and character of an age gone by where to dress for dinner is certainly the order of the day. The centrepiece is the large table made from local wood and surrounded by stylish upholstered dining chairs. For less formal dining, the large kitchen has a large breakfast table with stylish chairs, stools around the central island and sumptuous comfortable seating around the wood burning stove.
The kitchen is well-equipped with all you need for making preparations for those important celebratory meals. The separate utility room has a washing machine and wooden pulley drying rack.
A wide oak carpeted staircase leads from the main hallway up to the first floor where six tastefully furnished bedrooms await you. Each one has been individually decorated to complement the style of this stunning house. Equally, the bathrooms have all been sympathetically restored to cater for modern day guests' needs, featuring a combination of walk-in showers, baths and all have underfloor heating and heated towel rails.
Outside, to the front of the house is parking for up to ten cars, and from this central courtyard you can access the original prayer room which is now a games room with its own wood burning stove.
The main garden of The Vicarage can be found to the rear of the house. Mainly laid to lawn with a low stepped terrace, it leads on to a small private wooded area with pathways leading through.
This exceptional house is the perfect choice for those looking for something extra special, for either short or longer stays.
Additional Information:
One well-behaved dog welcome (additional charge).
Children and infants welcome. Travel cot, full-size cot and two highchairs available on request (please provide your own cot linen).
