After a day of going to the beach or other attractions in San Diego, come home, relax on your private deck and watch the sun go down in the ocean. Amazing!

This is a beautiful place and the location can’t be beat! The view from the balcony is what sold me and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom spacious with lots of drawers and the bed very comfortable. My son slept on the pull out couch and he said it was great too. Tim, the owner, is very personable and really cares that you have a good experience! That definitely makes a positive difference. This was my first time in Ocean Beach and we had so much fun. Make sure you check out the swimming cove which is just 2 blocks down. The landscape is breathtaking. Thank you Tim! We definitely would love to come back!

Cannot rave enough!!

From start to finish, our stay here was incredible. The property and location is absolutely beautiful and well-kept. The owner Tim was so kind and personable and made sure our comfort was top priority. We've stayed in many places over the years, but this by far was our best experience. We loved the city and our stay in Tim's place was top tier. Thank you for giving my our family great memories. We hope to come back soon!

Excellent place to stay

The apartment is so well thought out. And the view is excellent. I enjoyed the ocean breezes while sipping a cup of coffee. Sunset Cliffs is truly a beautiful neighborhood. Tim, the host, is very helpful with excellent recommendations. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen well stocked. I hope I get back here soon!

Phenomenal Location

Just steps away from the ocean. We could hear the waves breaking just outside our window. Would strongly recommend! Perfect for a couple getaway.

A nice weekend with an ocean view

We were hoping to relax near the Pacific for the last weekend of a hectic three-week trip, and this home delivered! It was just the right size for the two of us. We loved the big-screen tv and the ocean view from the bedroom. The host was friendly and helpful. We cooked and ate all meals there. Only small issues: lots of stairs (best to include that in your VRBO description), old, worn, stained towels and pillows, and a very moldy shower curtain. However, none of those things detracted from our lovely, quiet weekend! Thank you for a great stay!

Very nice place to stay in Ocean Beach

This place had everything we wanted for our visit to Ocean Beach! Property features that are especially helpful are the laundry machines, off-street parking place, beach chairs and towels, and short walk to restaurants and shopping area.

Great spot in OB

Tim and Kathy’s property was perfect for us. Tim met us on arrival and was warm and welcoming, and during our stay he was available and helpful. The place had everything we needed, the view from the deck was fantastic, and the location was great - quiet at night, but still a very short walking distance to everything OB has to offer.

Amazing oceanside vacation spot

This was my third visit to Tim and Kathy's wonderful oceanside vacation rental - I cannot recommend them highly enough. Amazing location, beautiful ocean views, easy walking distance to local restaurants, shopping, grocery, and nightlife. Most of all, the rental itself is clean, quiet, spacious, and with all the amenities. Such an absolute pleasure to spend a vacation here - we will do it again!!

Great spot for OB fun

Fantastic stay. Cozy with a fireplace downstairs. Pretty ocean view deck accommodating the pelicans and rainbows upstairs. 5 blocks from everything. I'll be calling Tin for another stay sooner than later!

Peaceful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was cozy, the view from the balcony was fantastic, and our overall experience was wonderful. Tim was a gracious host and very personable. We are hoping to come back to San Diego and if we do, we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect

Everything was perfect!! Location was great. Close to all the attractions. We rented a car but didn't have to drive it a lot. Able to walk to downtown OB with no problem. Farmer market on Wednesday evening was awesome. We saw some beautiful sunsets .Tim was very welcoming. We would seriously consider renting again from Tim.

Beautiful views of the ocean

The apartment is perfect. Great location 5 blocks from restaurants and shops. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large TV with cable and movie channels is nice (after the sun goes down). I would definitely stay again. One thing to note, the ground floor of the apartment is up one flight of exterior stairs, then the bedroom is another flight of (interior) stairs. Important if you have mobility problems. Well worth the climb for the patio and views off the bedroom!

The property is perfectly located to the water and many local attractions. Tim was always responsive and lives on the property so we were able to meet and interact with him. Very friendly and helpful. The house is well equipped , very comfortable and clean. The upstairs bedroom overlooking the water is an especially peaceful place. There is a dedicated parking spot for the house. That is a valuable amenity.

A little piece of paradise

Our stay was wonderful from beginning to end. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the apartment was very comfortable and inviting and even included a small Christmas tree and greenery above the fireplace! The sound of the ocean waves soothed us to sleep every night. We were close to restaurants and shopping in the area and only a short walk to access the ocean. We visited our son in Mission Valley which was only a 15 minute drive away. Tim and Kathy were great hosts, from greeting us upon arrival to suggestions for things to do. We will definitely make this a place to stay again.

Wonderful Ocean Beach Experience

This is about as close to the beachfront as you will find in fabulous OB. Lovely accommodation with all you need to make meals in, and close to lots of excellent restaurants. Tim was great with communication and met us personally upon arrival. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!

Tim and Kathy’s place was a home away from home! We loved the apartment, a million dollar view and it had just about everything you could need. Hidden gem

My husband and I stayed at Tim’s VRBO for 5 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was lovely. The private patio off the bedroom with an incredible ocean view was delightful. With a full kitchen, we were able to cook and take full advantage of the evening sunsets. Tim is the kind of VRBO owner that you want to be your host — kind, friendly, helpful. This place is a hidden gem in ocean beach. We’ll definitely be back! A little tip for future guests - there is an amazing Wednesday evening farmer’s market just a few blocks away with more food options than you can imagine. Go hungry and you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Girl Getaway!

This property was perfect for us! Wonderful location within walking distance of so many restaurants and great night life. The property was even better than advertised. So close to the water, with an outstanding view. The pull out bed was better than any pull out we had slept on. No bars, no springs, very comfortable! Excellent property with excellent hosts! Would absolutely stay there again. Thank you!
