About this property
LOCATION. Brand new fully refurbished 3 bed 2 bath sleeps. Central Cowes Marina
Experience wonderful sailing opportunities, beautiful beaches, and the scenic coastal walks of the Isle of Wight. The perfect destination for a family vacation, a few days with friends or, a corporate event.
Comfortable and stylish accommodation, just minutes from the town, sea front, and beaches. The perfect location to enjoy the Island's culture, sports and cuisine.
This elegant accommodation with a contemporary style with some period features has been fully renovated in the summer of 2023
A 50" HD digital smart TV with Freeview and Netflix channels awaits you after coming home from a day sightseeing, sailing, or just a chilled afternoon in the marina or at the beach. Wi-fi is available throughout the house.
The well planned and fully equipped kitchen has ample workspace for cooking and extendable seating for 6. There is also 2 foldable chairs if required to seat 8.
The 3 bedrooms consit of a large King room, a twin room which can be arranged as a double, and a fun and quirky bunk room with 2 single beds. Quality linen and bath towels are provided throughout, along with ample storage space / cupboards to store luggage etc.
The brand new bathrooms have large vanity mirrors, basins, toilet and heated radiator / towel rail.
At the rear of the property, the attractive south-facing panelled patio terrace comes with a bistro set. The kitchen back doors can be opened which is perfect for relaxing "al fresco" with coffee, drinks, or dining with family and friends.
The Bridge House enjoys a wonderful position in a quiet location. The Red Jet high speed passenger ferry, sea front, shops, restaurants and marina are all just a short stroll away. The Bridge House is the ideal base for holiday makers, yachtsmen or corporate guests. It's prime position close to the seafront offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy year-round activity in the harbour and Solent.. The yacht marina and famous yacht clubs, such as the Royal Yacht Squadron and Royal Ocean Racing Club, are a short walk away.
Osborne House, home to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, is open all year round in East Cowes with the walking bridge to East Cowes only a minute walk away. Also Carisbrooke Castle, where Charles I was imprisoned, is outside Newport, the capital of the island.
For nature lovers, New Town Creek Nature Reserve and the surrounding coastal walks offer visitors the chance to see many different birds and insect species. Further afield, there is the monastery of Quarr Abbey; the Garlic Farm, known for its garlic remedies; Yarmouth Castle, built by Henry VII to protect the Solent against the French and the Needles Battery, built in the mid 18th century.
Also with its many varied children’s activities it makes for a perfect family destination. A car is not necessary if staying in Cowes, however, car and cycle hire are available in the town to visit other parts of the Island if required. Please contact us directly for parking options.
At any time of the year The Bridge House offers an ideal destination. Guests can enjoy year-round sailing, mountain biking, golf, walking, country sports, amazing beaches, and other recreational pursuits.
Pets are welcome too, we ask that they are kept on the ground floor and kitchen. Dogs can be exercised in the beautiful Northwood Park, where there are also tennis courts, a children's play area, magnificent Turkey Oak trees and Northwood House itself.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Bridge House..
